And the devil deals it hard
Nov. 7th, 2006 05:19 pmBreak time before the night of chaos unfolds. Oh and people need to stop telling me to vote Democrat before I bitch-slap them. Yeesh, you're worse than my family of diehard Republicans. I'm voting for who I think can do the damn job. Like I said, I'd rather have a Bush supporter than a complete idiot whose only claim to fame is that he/she won't support Bush. -_-
Thanks to all who humored my cracky guessing game. The ones that eluded people were:
2. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. The reference was to that fact that Lelouch can basically pull a Light through a power in his eye and that LuLu can be downright nasty at times.
4. Kingdom Hearts. I blame the lack of guessing for this one on the badness of the clue. My original sentence was "Introducing the ultimate locksmith," but I wanted to be pretty. The doors naturally have to do with the worlds and the Nobodies and it was bad okay.
9. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Just me mocking. I admit I know nothing about Tsubasa outside of X. I fail.
I've noticed mixed reactions to Geass. Some harbor unreasonable love for it, and others would pick apart said fans like starved harpies. The way I see it is that the series is Sunrise and there are things associated with that. When Geass has potential, it gains snuggles. When it has crack, it gains laughs. Why do I love it? Because it's just plain fun for me. I'm not expecting a Death Note. I'm not expecting a Gundam Seed. I'm just expecting Lelouch being hot and probably wavering when it comes to sides and morality. If I want to over-analyze and give the series depth it may not have or if I want to insert many levels of crack, that's my Net-given right. Lay off the fangirls already.
I'm sad that nobody says "Yes, your majesty" when following LuLu's orders anymore.
