Zuko chooses tiger

Bastard Internet decided to buck me for a few hours due to a power outage. All I have to say is that it's very lucky it waited until 10 minutes after Avatar to have its spaz fit.

Zuko thinks he's Sasuke. It's sweet really. But if what went down was sincere, that makes Azula a much sweeter sister than Itachi. Also the not horribly slaughtering Zuko's entire clan too. I know so many shippers are pissed. Good they know how I felt watching the first half of that final episode. I convinced myself a brain slug had crawled into Zuko's head. I was not happy. But in Avatar's blindingly obvious attempts to play Naruto (are they actually using chakra now?), things got a lot more interesting. All and all, I like.

Oh, yeah...because Naruto invited the chakra points.

-_-

It's more than that actually. While lots of series use chakra, Avatar and Naruto almost seem to be playing off each other later. Naruto recently adopted the different elements version of chakra, having Naruto choose an affinity from earth, air, wind and fire. And now the Avatar is learning to control the Avatar chakra in a method similar to Jiraiya's training of Naruto for his kyuubi chakra. Avatar has long been fond of borrowing from anime elements. I think the creators have admitted to being fans of Miyazaki, as seen with some of their larger creatures and the environments of a few episodes. I probably shouldn't have made it seem that I was knocking it so harshly. I think it was just the whole addition of chakra to the way the show already seems kin to Naruto, despite its American creators.
