This I agree with. I also think "Twilight" shouldn't be included amid main vampire lore outside of an example of the dumbing down of the mythos and the de-fanging of the vampire. See also my "tortured" vampire continuum beginning with Rice, passing through Buffy and crystallizing in Twilight.
