Happy V-Day, bitches!

Came to a realization in my car today, a rather funny one. It seems that some of the people who's opinions I respect the most over the Internet are those who I met during one of my against-the-grain fandom posts or in the midst of a similar topic by someone else. [livejournal.com profile] fluffymaru, you were the one where I bashed Juvenile Orion as a degenerate X-clone, and was prompty put in my place. [livejournal.com profile] hyujin and I had a near clash at [livejournal.com profile] yaoi_daily over something Loveless related. [livejournal.com profile] teletha was found during the now-dwarfed "Is Loveless Shota?" debate. Then there are those found through shared fandom of mass destruction such as X gals who perpetuated thought as the sanity quickly died off: [livejournal.com profile] shoiryu [livejournal.com profile] _leareth, [livejournal.com profile] rackhamrose, [livejournal.com profile] darkkamui, [livejournal.com profile] aeanagwen, [livejournal.com profile] miracula, [livejournal.com profile] bwinter and [livejournal.com profile] vonheston. And the other-dragon/non-dragon gals AKA the firestarters: [livejournal.com profile] tintinalle, [livejournal.com profile] kerikeri, [livejournal.com profile] aquariankiss and [livejournal.com profile] _argustar. Then there are the ones who I may have never shared a single opinion with but still gotta bow down and say damn you do know your stuff: [livejournal.com profile] sumeragiskank and [livejournal.com profile] girltypefuuma. No can't include Ari here because her passion kinda scared me at times. Dang, I'm missing X again. Uh...conclusion, I idolize people who can make me think even if they disagree with me. And on days when everyone is going on about love and junk, I think it's safe to see that these peeps are some of the reason I do adore fandom. Gotta take the good with the bad and without your support group/rivals, the Net would be a terribly boring place.

I now go back to that comm I promised. Gravitation mumblings to come later.

Oh yeah, quote of the day. Heard while walking past the idiots watching their Idol.
"I know it's just an idol, but it's America!" *guy breaks into sobs* Give that man a medal. It's so beautiful.
