I blame FF8 for Xenogears not being able to reach its full potential. =/ I heard that so much more was planned for disc 2, but the budget had to be cut. It's a shame too, Xenogears is my all time favorite video game. Not only was the story good, but the battle system was a nice break from constant menus. It's too bad that with the release of Xenosaga, that more attention couldn't be drawn to Xenogears. X_x

Say, did you ever manage to get your hands on the Perfect Works collection? It's not in English (sadly), but it's still very enjoyable. ^^
