GIP: They're on a date
This is my first blatantly shippy icon, excluding the puppy love since I have mixed reactions to that one. I hate Suzaku's hair, but I'm no PS master and I like the tablet others have to redraw missing parts. Considering my level of suckitude, I like the icon. As long as I don't stare at it too long and freak out about the mistakes. It makes me happy. Suzaku and Lelouch are both so pretty.
On random note, a brief conversation about the incest in CCS and the inability to escape it has opened my eyes and made me slightly terrified of both CCS and Clamp. Mostly Clamp. You need the Rosetta Stone to figure out the hieroglyphics that go into that series.

The only real incest I could think of in CCS is how Meilin and Syaoran were cousins, but in Asian countries it is okay to marry first cousins so it is only incest by OUR standards.
I'm not trying to be snerky, I really want to know the truth behind these claims. ^_^ If you have anything to add, then please do. <3

In both mediums, they explain Syaoran as a distant relative/descendant of Clow Reed. So the claim about Sakura and Syaoran having some twisted/distant family connection is legit. If you choose to read Fujitaka and Eriol's incarnations as other versions of Clow Reed. Related: POTENTIALLY.
In both mediums, Tomoyo's mother is the cousin of Sakura's mother, making them also distant cousins. Best seen in the episode where the family and Sonomi visit Sakura's grandfather. Sonomi's closeness to Nadeshiko is a major reason behind her resentment of Fujitaka. Related: YES
Eriol being technically Clow but sharing half with Fujitaka also introduces a complicated familial connection to Sakura since she is Fujitaka's daughter. Depends how you want to see it. Related: POTENTIALLY.
Not only did Clow Reed create his Guardians, Yue and Cerberus, but his relationship with them was that of a "father" in their need of his power to survive. Wiki's rundown. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clow_Reed) That said when Sakura becomes this figure for the Guardians, she becomes something of a "mother" to them. Being that Yukito is the alter of Yue and that Sakura crushed on him, yes she was technically crushing on someone who would end up being her "son." Again, interpretation here. Related: SORTA.
Mizuki left Touya for Eriol in the manga. Eriol being the second half of Clow's reincarnation and Fujitaka being the other could be construed as somewhat related to Fujitaka. So the claim that Mizuki left the son for the father has merit, albeit it's shaky.
If you hold to Yue being Sakura's "son" and Clow's "son" as explained above, this would make Yue both Touya's "brother" due to the relation to Clow/Fujitaka and "uncle" due to the relation to Sakura. Since Yukito is Yue, that same pattern holds over. Related: SORTA.
It's heavily based on interpretation of the facts at hand and whether you want to read reincarnations as related or create family through both magic and blood. Either way, it makes your head spin.

For my two cents, incest is determined by BLOOD relations by definition. Obviously, reincarnations don't count in the real world, but fantasy is fantasy right? Also, incest is completely relevent to the society in which it is placed in. Sakura and Tomoyo, for example, would not be incestuous in Japan because they are first cousins and first cousins are allowed to marry. Here in the US it has to be second cousins at least to marry, so only here would it be considered incestuous. After you explain the connections the claims make more sense but they don't have a lot of merit and would not stand up to a 'proof' analysis. Like the Mizuki leaving Touya for Eriol means she is leaving the son for the father is a BIG leap in logic.
Honestly, CLAMP just likes to make sure that everyone is connected because that way you can keep your cast of characters smaller and not have to bring in new people all the time. XP
