I really hate that my room is an embarrassment to God and man and I need to clean it like yesterday, but I'm too damn lazy to put forth the motivation. I'm definitely going to have to have it done by Wednesday night somehow.
It scares me that I came to visit Gabi so we could go see more theater, but it was so hot that we ended up staying inside and talking about XXXholic, writing and sometimes Geass. UNTIL 4:30 A.M. I just. I don't even know where my time went. I meant to watch LLL. Something tells me theater may not be happening today. Fail on every possible level, self. It did at least make me realize that I need to get back to writing ASAP, although now I'm afraid I put too much thought into my plot/characters and they will feel forced. I can't win.
Also, my cat bill was like $400 for both cat. I love my babies, but damn that hurts my funds, especially with Otakon this week. I will actually have to limit my spending. But I guess it's okay because there is not anything I'm super obsessed with. I might look for some Durarara merchandise and of course manga and probably buy some more anime. But I think my days of nutso purchases may finally be behind me. At least I hope so. I'm sure I tell myself this every year.
And I'm having thoughts but not entirely sure where I want to go with them. I just suck at time management, and it gets in the way of so many things I want to do.

25. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.
RP-wise: Lelouch has like 10 cats (only one of which he actually likes) and one collie; Zero has his evil horse Lily, Toboe has a pufferkitten. I'm not going into detail with the CFUD pets since I've done it too recently. Vamp!Lelouch and Vamp!Nunnally have a noisy raven named Elizabeth that tries to talk and is crazy faithful to Nunnally. The vamp sibs found her on some insanely dangerous cliff or something and now she relays messages for them like a carrier pigeon. I need to bring her back into the story because I love how she speaks entirely in capslock. I guess Were!Suzaku also kind of counts as a pet when he's in his wolf form, although he would probably resent the term. Lol. Coded!Lelouch has a kitten Schneizel gave him for reasons that escape me, probably to mind-fuck him. I think Anya has Arthur in that verse. I also think I really need to pick up that verse again.
Original Fiction-wise: Ty has his big dumb white German shepherd puppy named Thorne. Thorne has multi-colored eyes and is extremely protective of Ty, especially around Wolf. They do not like each other. In my silly AU-verse of "Psychosis," Lucian has an ugly cat named Melpomene or Pom and Dominic has Thorne. Ariel also has a sweet horse that he loves because it's the only pet he can have since most sense the wolf and either run away or get aggressive. I think Elkin gave her to Ariel and her name is something showy and ridiculous that's not coming to me right now. San has a similar relationship going with Fey, who was given to him by Isis and is mostly an indifferent cat who likes to sleep beside him and occasionally purrs for him. She never notices anyone else. San adores Fey.
26. Let's talk art! Do you draw your characters? Do others draw them? Pick one of your OCs and post your favorite picture of him!
I cannot draw to save my life. I did attempt to draw Wolf once and it was... passable at best. Yeah, I suck. HOWEVER, Amy (don't kill me for sharing. ;;) used to do fanart for me, and it was awesome. AND I STILL HAVE IT.
This is seriously everything I picture Lucian Ambrose as. I love it. It captures his personality style, flirtatious nature and dangerous side as well. Perfect.
Dominic Solanis being his super moody self. I love his hair.
More Nicky because his hot and he's my baby and I just love the loner atmosphere of this one. He is completely off-putting to the world.
Tashira Ambrose being her fashionable and refined self. So much love for the entire feel of this one.
Ty Fatine in his more reflective state. I like this one because it captures the other side of Ty that only comes out when he's using his brain and actually shows he matures. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to use this art as reference when re-writing the boy.
Erik Gaeal probably hating the world or JUDGING IT.
Dominic and Lucian being adorable. You know, when they're not beating/clawing/kicking the shit out of each other. D'aww. Dominic is my favorite in this pic. I just love his eyes.
There is more, but those are my favorites.
Oh yes, and a long long time ago, when I was a faithful writer, someone actually drew my SWORDS. This is like the most glorious thing ever since I love the swords in Psychosis and god I wish I could remember who sent me them. I don't even know if I still have that e-mail. ;; But here they are!
The badass sword of the Guardian of Hell/Lucian: Hades.
The equally imposing blade of the Guardian of the Sun/Dominic: Aurora.
... Damn, I am missing writing more. I should order a commission at Otakon or such.
27. Along similar lines, do appearances play a big role in your stories? Tell us about them, or if \not, how you go about designing your characters.
Yes, I am insanely descriptive about my characters, especially their eyes. I go on about skin tone, build, hair, clothing styles, jewelry, the way they carry themselves, tattoos, scars. I love it. Sometimes it's important to clash their appearance with their personality. Or sometimes that they are mind-numbingly beautiful is an important part of their dangerous facade, as in San's case. I usually have some idea of a character design in mind before I start the naming process. I develop the description along the same time as I develop the character's persona/actions. With Psychosis, I wanted very stark and startling colors: reds, blacks, reddish-brown, strawberry-blond, silver-blond (though Angelique is probably getting a hair color change because while silver-blond makes sense for Tashira, it is dumb to have two characters with that color no matter how speshul Angelique is.) For Heritage, most of the hair colors are softer and more wild, with the exception of the hybrids who all have white hair. I love character appearances!
