GET OVER IT!

It's really sad that I write so much that in order to avoid spamming my Friends List, I have to separate things into different posts. XD;; Of course, this just adds to my sadness when nobody comments on any of my week's posts. But that's why I have time to bother. *bothers his sleeping self*

If I hear one more person bitch about FMA's ending, I'm going to personally track them down and punch them in the face. If they are stronger than me, I'll get one of the boys to do it. Seriously, bitches, there is a movie. And more seriously, WHAT DID YOU WANT? DEATH DEATH AND MORE DEATH?! Because that was the alternative. I'm damn happy something ending non-agonizingly for once. So you know what, FUCK OFF! *snuggles Elric bros and latches onto Roy* I mean, don't we have enough horribly depressing anime endings already? [livejournal.com profile] quebelly is right; anime watchers ARE obsessed with chara death. That and there's no way to satisfy them. I believe FMA fans would have thrown a shit-fit regardless of how BONES decided to end things.

Note: Above comment about obsession with chara-death does not mean that chara-death is not sometimes justified and meaningful. =P As I've quoted Woolf before, "Someone must die so that the other characters appreciate life more." It's a double-edged blade.

Again, I loved the ending and only my opinion counts.

TOTALLY with you on both points about chara-death there. Sometimes it's just Dramatic Cliche(TM), sometimes it's justified. Fans seem to prefer it. I guess it's a little like the angsty vs genki debate...
