How can I like Katou so much when I used to hate him?
I am now buried in Angel Sanctuary manga. I would seriously kill for a plot summary. You know what, I think I'm going to go through all the volumes I have and do one myself. That way, when I get confused as to what went on, I can go back to it and have some semblame of a clue.
This will take forever.
flashback revelations/important details in italics, I am not writing out the Sword's name so you get Nana when I'm talking about the spirit
VOLUME 1
-Kurai and Arachne reach Alexiel's body in Hell and kill things.
-Setsuna fights and angst about incest/his need to get laid. His mother separates them. Worried of damning Sara, Setsuna eventually tells her he doesn't really love her.
-Katan manipulates psychic Ruri, who seduces people and turns them into Golems to kidnap Sara for pitying her and getting her blinded in dealings with Kurai.
-Kurai wants Alexiel to wake up and tries to force Setsuna to do so.
-Angel Sanctuary games kills people and Katan uses their energy to break the seal and awaken Rosiel.
-Katan wants Rosiel to save Heaven from power struggle while God's away in Briah.
-Katan loves Rosiel but Rosiel is obsessed with Alexiel.
-Adam Kamon shows up and fixes things after Setsuna is badly hurt protecting Sara from Rosiel!Ruri.
-Arachne kills Kira when he realizes Arachne's a man and Kira reveals his true self.
-Kira gives Setsuna the Pendant.
-Rosiel says Kira killed Setsuna's old guardian.
-Katan inteferes with Rosiel!Ruri hurting Sara and Rosiel tries to turn him into a Golem.
-Rosiel punishes Katan and Katan decides to kill Setsuna to keep Alexiel from endangering Rosiel.
-Blood makes Setsuna suck at fighting even though he's a violent little bitch and kicks ass.
-Alexiel went against God and sealed Rosiel in Earth. Alexiel was punished by being sealed in Hell.
-Katan broke law as high angel and went to Earth to get Rosiel.
-Adam Kamon controls all.
-In power struggle, angels killed Kurai's clan. Her father gave her the family's trusted sword. Alexiel saved Kurai and she found Arachne. Alexiel was pissed at the angels' actions and decided to wage war on angels. Kurai devoted herself to aiding Alexiel.
-Alexiel wants to be reincarnated as a man because she's ashamed of her womanly weakness/pain.
-When Alexiel fought Rosiel, the Sword broke.

VOLUME 2
-Rosiel turns junkie Katou into a Golem who takes pictures of Setsuna/Sara and torments Setsuna into dispair at school.
-Mother tries to take Sara to England. Kira's encouragement strengthens Setsuna's love.
-Rosiel again tries to trick Setsuna as Ruri. Angel Sanctuary kills Ruri's parents but Sara wins back Ruri's love.
-Kurai learns from blind prophet that Alexiel's awakening is near but Setsuna and Tokyo will perish.
-Setsuna freaks when Rosiel kills Kira and Alexiel's spirit shows up and helps Katou die. Setsuna's earrings shatter and the Sword appears.
-Kira reveals he's not human and tells Setsuna he only cares about Alexiel. But Arachne says otherwise.
-Setsuna's powers attract Zaphikiel, Raziel and Kirie.
-Setsuna saves Kurai from a car after she's startled by seeing Raziel. He reveals he knows Kurai is a girl.
-Zaphikiel stops Setsuna from killing himself.
-Rosiel replaces Katan with Kirie for his disobedience. Katan later saves her when Ruri goes nuts.
-Setsuna learns to control his anger briefly.
-Kurai realizes her feelings for Setsuna.
-Kira pierces Setsuna's ears to restrain his power.
-Rosiel's blood spilt on the Sword during the fight with Alexiel, making the Sword immortal and giving it the spirit form of Nana. But the effect is wearing off.
-Kira and Katou are also best friends.
-Zaphikiel lost his sight after seeing Adam Kamon and wants to find him.
***
VOLUME 3
-Kira and his dad fight because his dad won't give up on him, even when Kira cuts himself and heals to show he's a monster. Kira loves his father and Setsuna like a brother even though he's not supposed to.
-Sara mopes over a ring Setsuna gave her when they were kids.
-Police ask Setsuna about Katou's death but Kurai tells Setsuna to stop Sara from leaving. They love each other and run away to be incesty dorks.
-Kira helps Setsuna and confesses to Katou's murder.
-Metatron fears Rosiel but loves the frozen Jibril.
-Zaphikiel suspects Sevotharte (Sevy).
-Kirie loves Rosiel but Rosiel is freaking out over Sara/Setsuna sex.
-Arachne comes to help Kira as Setsuna goes to save Kira.
-The prophet tells Kurai the world will end tomorrow.
-Setsuna's spirit visits Kira and Kira tells him not go rescue him. He also meets Metatron. Confusing whether it's Setsuna or Alexiel or both speaking to Kira here.
-Kirie tries to kill Setsuna but Sara gets in the way and dies.
-Setsuna freaks out, grows wings and destroys stuff. Katan tries to protect Kirei but is fatally wounded. The Pendant breaks and Kira is fatally wounded.
-Kira meets Setsuna when he stops him from killing students.
-Blood originally calls to Alexiel and makes Setsuna violent.
-The real Kira and his mother died in a car crash and the Sword made a bet with the real Kira to use his body but to make Kira's father hate him so he wouldn't be sad when Kira died.
-Alexiel was fated to live tragic lives and die but the Sword changed that when he killed her while in the body of one of her reincarnation's lovers. Alexiel had been a brothel girl trying to escape with her love, who was killed and made a deal with Nana to give Alexiel peace. Alexiel killed her pursuers with her power but was due for torture so Nana killed her. Alexiel's spirit thanked him before she died and he realized his love for her and killed all her pursuers.
-Nana took the samuari sword of the lover and sealed it into his body so he could call it at will.
-Nana has always followed Alexie's reincarnations to protect her but could never save her until then.
-Katan was originally a Grigor (spirit without form) that Rosiel gave form because Rosiel cared for the Grigor (punished for mating with humans). Katan was determined to reach Rosiel's place in Heaven to see him again. At first Rosiel pretended not to know him but in private recanted. Katan is like Rosiel's son.
-Katan hates hurting innocents but Kirei is willing to do whatever to prove her worth and earn Rosiel's love.
-Rosiel thinks Alexiel hates him.

VOLUME 4
-Kira and his father bond. Kira's dying so Setsuna heals the Pendant against Adam Kamon's advice.
-Adam Kamon tells Setsuna to rescue him from Heaven and that Sara's death was necessary to Alexiel's awakening. He can return time to just before Setsuna destroyed Tokyo.
-Setsuna agrees to go to Hell by letting Kira stabbing him with another version of the Sword so that if the Sword is removed and his body is not back in seven days, he will die permanently.
-Rosiel tries to feed Katan a Golem pill, which he eventually swallows but takes a long time reviving. When he does revive, he's a Golem that eats people.
-Rosiel returns to Heaven as the others are learning of what transpired on Earth
-Enra-o tells Setsuna that Sara was taken by Uriel as a sacrifice to Yggdrasil for her sins. He names Katou as Setsuna's guide. Enra-o really wants Katou to destroy Setsuna in return for sparing Katou from Hell.
-Kurai brings Setsuna's body to her part of Hell as Boyz tells Kira he stinks of human.
-Rosiel saves Metatron from an assassin and gains approval.
-Sevy cuts the wings off Lilith as Dobiel declares his loyalty to Sevy.
-Katou's treachery of trying to steal Setsuna's energy with his cross rod causes the drug's effects to return but Setsuna saves him from a ghoul.
-A special ghoul working for Uriel goes after Setsuna, pretending to have Sara's ring. She attacks him but Setsuna heals her soul.
-Zaphikiel spies on Sevy.
-The ghoul's mask goes into Katou.
-All who use the Sword lose their minds or kill themselves. Nana is not supposed to know true emotions.
-Rosiel wanted Katan to return to Heaven to be safe from him. He believes Katan is the only good thing about his life.
-Katou associates intimacy with violence due to his fear of being left alone and being abused.

VOLUME 5
-Rosiel ponders Sevy's plans.
-Sevy suggests experimenting on Raziel while Sevy and Zaphikiel discuss the Angel war. Sevy tells Zaphikiel not to betray him.
-Setsuna finds Yggrasil but falls. Katou at first tries to kill him but changes his mind and suffers from the pain of the mask.
-The Doll appears with Sara's ring and tries to make Katou kill Setsuna but Katou evenutally breaks free and makes Setsuna stab him with the cross rod.
-Setsuna accepts the Doll isn't Sara and uses Alexiel's powers but Yggrasil protects her.
-Uriel says Setsuna must beat him to make him talk. Setsuna defeats him with a piece of Katou's mask.
-Tiara bonds with Golem!Katan as Rosiel kills Dobiel's assassins. She says he'll take Katan away to stop the killing.
-Uriel's mask breaks and he remembers Alexiel and says he can save Katou. When Katou died, Setsuna unconsciously used time magic that allowed Katou's soul to go into the cross rod. But once Setsuna uses his positive energy to bring back Katou, Katou will be bound to Alexiel's fate.
-Setsuna learns Zaphikiel took Sara's soul to Heaven.
-Alexiel saves Katou by feeding him her feather and Katou sees his sister never forgot him. Katou chooses to be Alexiel's guardian rather than be reborn.
-Uriel has mood swings due to his mask. He asks Setsuna to kill him.
-Uriel was in love with Alexiel and has been missing for some time after helping send Alexiel's body to hell and cursing her to always suffer and die.
-The rest of the four guardians (Jibril, Michael and Raphael) are all messed up.
-Katou's killing ghouls traps him more in their world.
-Uriel gave his Doll a body like Sara's using Kirie's soul.
-Katou lived an abusive life since he was a bastard child. He thought his actions earned the hatred of his younger sister.
-Uriel created his mask so he could act as Executioner against his gentle nature.
-Zaphikiel helped Uriel hide in Hell after he cut his throat with his own hands so he could never again curse someone. He cannot speak.
-Sara's death broke the curse Uriel placed on Alexiel.
-Uriel cursed Alexiel because he knew she loved another.

VOLUME 6
-Setsuna spares Uriel
-Dobiel again tries to kill Rosiel but Rosiel tricks and kills the assassin. Dobiel shoots Rosiel with a poison that eats his cells but it won't effect him. Dobiels kills himself and blows up the building. Katan saves Rosiel. Rosiel gives Dobiel his blood.
-Tiara gets shot to death protecting Katan and Katan kills the other assassins, ultimately choosing Rosiel over the pure life Tiara promised. Although Rosiel wants to make Tiara into one of them, Katan refuses.
-Boyz hates how Kurai chooses humans and Setsuna over him. He tries to remove the sword but Kira stops him. When Boyz says Kira wants Alexiel and not Setsuna, Kira accidentally knocks him into Setsuna and causes him to remove the sword.
-Setsuna dreams of Lailah.
-Setsuna and Katou fight Enra-o. But when Setsuna's sword is removed, Enra-o tries to tempt Katou. Katou breaks free and releases the souls in Enra-O.
-Mad Hatter controls Noyz and later reveals herself to attack the demons. She wants Kurai to join her against the angels but Kurai refuses.
-The dragon Nidheg is hurt in the fight.
-Katou says he can't return to Earth since his power is limited to Hell and he put all his energy into using the cross rod against Enra-O. Katou dies but is saved by Uriel.
-Raziel stumbles into where Zaphikiel's keeping Sara to keep her from Sevy.
-Rosiel as Dobiel confronts Sevy.
-Uriel believed Alexiel loved God but God only loved Rosiel.
-Enra-o wanted to destroy Setsuna to prevent all possiblity of his failure.
-Rosiel and Alexiel both have Adam Kamon's blood.
-Nidheg was another ghoul given form by Uriel.

VOLUME 7
-Nidheg wants Setsuna to find Lailah. He gives Setsuna his scale with his memories as he dies.
-Sevy pretends to swear allegiance to Rosiel.
-After speaking with Adam Kamon about trouble in Heaven, Setsuna awakens as Alexiel since his body is dead. Kira's will brought him back. Rabbit eyes startle Adam Kamon during their talk.
-Mad Hatter wants to bring Kurai to Lucifer and seems to recognize Kira. She offers a spell to save Setsuna instead of sending Setsuna to Heaven if Kurai agrees to be a bride of Hell. Kurai is forbidden to tell anyone of the bargain.
-Michael has a stand-in while he wreaks havoc in Heaven. He goes to find Raphael after Sevy attempts to spy on him. Raphael later goes to find him before he encounters Setsuna and Kira.
-Setsuna as Alexiel teases Boyz for killing him as something evil remains inside Noyz. Demons want to destroy Setsuna's body.
-Raziel has dreams of Sara and wants Zaphikiel to awaken her. Zaphikiel works with undercover agents.
-Kira doesn't want Setsuna to cut Alexiel's hair. It reminds him how Mad Hatter says people only see Alexiel. Kira tells Setsuna he killed Alexiel's guardian angel, raped Alexiel and then killed her.
-Hatter later says Kira's actions were a ruse to flush Hatter out and sends Setsuna to save his body.
-The Sword doesn't want anyone but Alexiel to touch him.
-Setsuna as Alexiel has to stop himself from being overcome by the Sword's rage as Noyz tries to make Setsuna kill her to prove Setsuna's a traitor. Setsuna stops but the Hatter's feathers kill a demon and the group has to escape. Boyz decides to temporarily trust Setsuna.
-Ghouls are all former angels who lost their minds and memories. They wandered aimlessly until Uriel started helping them when he arrived.
-Lailah blames Nidheg for attacks she unleashed on others and sent him and others to their deaths.
-Nidheg loved Lailah and so ended up trapping her in a maze of her mind. Lailah loves him back but was afraid.
-Michael hates it when people mention his brother Lucifer or his height.
-Raziel was born with unusually high powers and experimented on until Zaphikiel saved him, for which he is eternally grateful. Zaphikiel just wants to see Raziel's face.
-Mad Hatter doesn't worry about gender and only allows Lucifer to call her by her true name Belial.
-Kira claims to hate Alexiel for making him weak. Alexiel was the only one who could wield the Sword without going crazy.

VOLUME 8
-Boyz creates protective field for Setsuna's body.
-A spy goes after Metatron but sees Sevy's face and is rendered mute by Sevy. He tries to make the spy tell him who his leader is but the paralyzed Jibril somehow interferes.
-Michael fights Setsuna!Alexiel and though Setsuna catches him off-guard, he can't control his powers and Michael escapes. Michael stabs Setsuna but Boyz takes a blow protecting him from a fatal attack and loses an arm, saying it was for Kurai.
-Metatron sees Bunny's true form as a young man. Bunny makes Metatron remove Jibril's needle. Sevy destroys the stuffed rabbit but not the real one.
-Setsuna gets his third wing as Raphael tries to stop the fight. Sara's soul reveals itself before the fighters. After Raphael drags Michael away, Michael breaks up their friendship.
-The spy tells Zaphikiel about the needle paralyzing Jibril but dies as result of Sevy's earlier attack.
-The demons struggle to save Boyz as Noyz tries to contain her own evil from Hatter. But it escapes and Setsuna stabs it. The demons agree to trust Setsuna for now and Setsuna meets with the prophets.
-Hatter gives Kurai Pandora's Box to pour on Setsuna and awaken him, becoming Hell's Bride at the same time. She kisses Kurai in front of Setsuna.
-Sara slowly regains her memory but is blind. She runs into Raphael.
-The demon is undead that keeps coming back to kill Setsuna. The wound it gives Kira won't heal. Kurai agrees to watch it.
-Hatter makes Kurai an older woman to seduce Setsuna.
-Kira can see Alexiel's thoughts/feelings when she holds the Sword.
-Belial used to seduce high-ranking angels until Lucifer caught her. The angels killed themselves but Lucifer stopper her from doing the same.
-Sara awakens in Jibril's body.

VOLUME 9
-Sara sees Raphael's encounter with Setsuna!Alexiel after he tries to perv on her. He has her disguise as a servant to get by Sevy. He heals her eyes but refuses to save Setsuna for nothing. Sara agrees to have sex with him for Setsuna but later attacks him before Michael shows up.
-Kurai confesses her love but tries to pretend it was a joke and says she loves Hatter.
-Kira realizes he's dying and if he dies again, he will return to the Sword.
-Hatter's potion won't really save Setsuna but the naive Kurai gives Setsuna Pandora's Box as Noyz gives Boyz a special ring. Hatter takes Kurai.
-Boyz goes to find Kurai but finds Arachne's shrine to Lucifer and is killed. Noyz steals the revival potion for Boyz after Hatter's monster reveals everything. Arachne shatters the bottle.
-Setsuna says the deal with Hatter is off and they are going to Hell to reclaim Kurai. Noyz cuts her hair and wants to go. Kira cuts up the monster to get it to open a gate to Hell. He is distant with Setsuna.
-Kira goes to die by Setsuna's body and notices an earring missing. Hatter heals him.
-Kurai kept Setsuna's earring to remember him. She falls into the pit with a monster Abaddon that immediately kills anyone who sees it when she attempts to throw the earring out the window. But the power in the earring protects her from its effect. Kurai and Abaddon bond.
-Hatter orders Arachne through her earring to throw Setsuna into the Lethe River, which will cause him to lose his memories and be easily controlled. Setsuna sees Sara in the River as Arachne prepares to push him in.
-Astarte finds Kurai.
-Arachne was working for Hatter and helped take out Kurai's clan.
-The high ranking Satans dislike the lower ranking Evils.
-Asmodeus wants Hatter to realize Lucifer will never love her.
-Hatter collects the Brides to sacrifice to Lucifer's body.

VOLUME 10
-Setsuna as Alexiel realizes Arachne's intent and escapes with Noyz.
-Astarte tells Kurai about her baby but when Astoreth shows up in her body, the baby is destroyed. Astoreth likes to torture things and takes Kurai hostage, telling her Astarte cannot have a child. He tells her she was tricked and attempts to rape her but Astarte regains control. Astarte tries to eat Kurai to have another baby but Abaddon saves her by severing his own hand and chains.
-A cloaked figure masquerading as Setsuna with three wings returns to Tokyo and beats up Michael's men.
-Hatter plays a chess game to make things happen in Hell and when Setsuna tries to escape, the Sword tells him to cut into the ground and changes shape.
-Hatter captures Setsuna and Noyz, telling Setsuna he must find Kurai within the realm of the seven sins before his torture device kills Noyz.
-Kira is agonizing over his connection to hell when the imposture shows up and reveals himself as Katou.
-Abaddon kills Astarte but Astarte uses her power to save Astoreth by splitting the snake. Astoreth pretends not to care. Hatter gives him a wedding invite.
-Setsuna tries to manipulate Asmodeus into helping him but Asmodeus easily kills Setsuna's hostage. The blow was meant to poison Setsuna but the Pendant protects him. Seeing that Setsuna is the Savior, Asmodeus agrees to join forces.
-Kira goes to Hell to protect Setsuna, leaving Katou in charge of Setsuna's body. Katou steals Setsuna's body.
-Arachne taunts the captive Noyz and shows her Boyz's ring. He breaks the torture device so Noyz can escape. Setsuna learns this and goes with Asmodeus.
-Kurai is trying to find a way out of Hell but Arachne catches her as Abaddon tries to protect her.
-Michael, Raphael and Sara show up to fight Katou but Uriel shows up to protect him and Setsuna's body. He tells Raphael to resurrect Setsuna, which Raphael agrees to in exchange for Sara's kiss.
-Asmodeus presents a lifeless Alexiel to the wedding but Abaddon crashes the party.
-Noyz confronts Arachne, who tries to summon the Great Dragon and fails. Noyz attacks Arachne, who is busy remembering Boyz and Kai. Injured, he returns the ring and earring.
-Setsuna reveals himself as alive and saves Kurai by sticking the Sword into a wall that has Kira's face.
-Sevy reincarnated Sara's soul into Jibril as Setsuna's guardian angel after Nana killed an earlier reincarnation's guardian.
-Astarte and Astaroth were created when God attempted to make another Adam Kamon. Born as twins, Astarte's conscience was put into Astoreth's body but Astoreth rebelled and became vicious. Astoreth's hatred for God was the only thing that kept him sane. Lucifer used a snake with two head and two genders to hold their souls while one was in control. Black for Astoreth and white for Astarte.
-Uriel made Katou a new body from plants after his old one was destroyed but Katou also absorbed Alexiel's power from the wing he was fed.
-Asmodeus craves Hatter.
-Told he would be the third prince by prophecy, Arachne was raised in isolation. When Kurai was born, Arachne was ignored by everyone but his friend Kai. An assassin came to kill Arachne, unknowing that the true ruler was Kurai. Kai was killed in the battle and Arachne learned he'd been used. Hatter gave Arachne power to kill the real Arachne and assume her identity. He swore allegience to Lucifer.
-Angels are born genderless but their sex later appears.
-Belial tooks potions to make her a woman but stopped before the change was complete to resist God's plan. Lucifer found her and told her to join him but refused to fall for her. Hatters feels she is not worth of being a bride.
-Arachne needs the earring of the Dragon Stone to rule his clan and takes it from Kurai.
-Arachane killed Boyz because his loyalty reminded him too much of Kai.

VOLUME 11
-An injured Arachne stabs Hatter after Hatter reveals all of Hell will collapse if the final bride isn't in her place. He returns his demon mark and reveals he too is a virgin. He tells Kurai to let Setsuna protect her and sacrifices himself.
-Abaddon protects Kurai from part of Hell's destruction as she is separated from Setsuna.
-Asmodeus saves Hatter, saying she's beautiful.
-Alexiel sees Kira and she refers to him as Lucifer. They get intimate and Alexiel tries to stab Kira but he notices and accuses her of only wanting him for Lucifer's soul. Alexiel tells Kira there's no point in loving her since she is a selfish being.
-Sandalphon appears again within Metatron's world. He tries to interfer with the ressurection, reaching a hand through the special field Uriel created and chases Michael and Raphael off once Setsuna is breathing again.
-Uriel and Raphael are trying to revive Setsuna as Sara also uses Jibril's water powers to help them.
-Sara's vision returns and she wakes Setsuna with her voice and Setsuna's powers force Sandalphon away, promising Sara he'll come get her.
-Hatter prepares magic to return Kira, Kurai, Noyz and Alexiel's body to Kurai's clan.
-Raziel helps Zaphikiel by giving aid to the slums of Heaven, convinced the higher angels are right in punishing the fallen to maintain order. Someone tries to attack him but reveals herself to be an one-winged angel, Shateiel. Raziel asks Sevy to help the slums, despite Zaphikiel's protests. He gives Shateiel his army necklace after learning what his fellow angels have been doing to fallen. But the gifts Raziel was given were bombs and kill Raziel's new friends.
-Setsuna is relieved to see Katou again.
-Sevy captured Sara when Michael and Raphael returned to Heaven and is using her as bait to lure Setsuna.
-Raziel tries to attack Sevy for using him but Sevy attacks him and is about to condemn him as a cohort of the fallen angels when Zaphikiel interferes, saying it's Raziel's fault everyone died.
-Kurai promises her clan to never again abandon them and honor Arachne's memory.
-Raziels asks to leave Zaphikiel's service because he cannot forgive Sevy and he doesn't want to endanger Zaphikiel. Zaphikiel reveals he is also a fallen angel and Raziel agrees to work for him.
Zaphikiel sends Raziel to meet Setsuna with a message from Zaphikiel about joining with the rebel group Anima Mundi to stop Sevy and save Sara. Sevy plans to pass on Jibril's powers and then kill her after trying her for incest. Zaphikiel offers Hell Raziel in exchange for Setsuna. Raziel is antsy but agrees to help Setsuna. Since Setsuna is going alone, Kurai returns his earring.
-Sara deals with a Grigori whose mind was modified to only follow orders. She writes down notes about Sara's human behavior for Sevy. Sara names her Moonlil.
-Lucifer joined his body with Hell to give it life when he escape there with other fallen angels before his soul was taken away by a man in black. Without his soul, Lucifer's body continues to expand and needs the 999 brides to keep Hell from self-destructing.
-Arachne enjoyed the time he spent pretending to be Kurai's friend and cousin.
-Hatter too wishes she could have been a bride.
-Rosiel and Alexiel's curse can only be ended by God's death.
-Rosiel made Alexiel promise to kill him if he went insane but Alexiel could not face the pleading voice of her brother during the battle between Heaven and Hell. She hides within Setsuna because she can neither kill or face Rosiel.
-Alexiel calls Setsuna the true Messiah. She says she must kill Kira before Lucifer awakens and destroys the still weak Setsuna.
-Children of angels and angels are sometimes born with red pupils and pale skin and seen as mistakes, their parents branded as fallen angels.
-Raziel can see another's past just by touching them.
-Zaphikiel also used to kill fallen angels and seduce a woman named Anael. But Zaphikiel also toyed with Anael's friend, Lailah's, emotions. His hunting methods angered Sevy but Zaphikiel said he enjoyed the job too much to quit, despite the danger it put Anael in. He went on a special mission and was told to kill the mute spy but it was really a disguised Anael set up by Sevy. Anael had been part of a resistance against the higher angels called Sandalphon. In her memory, Zaphikiel took up leadership of the resistance.
-Zaphikiel tried to kill himself but was saved and blinded by Adam Kamon. The high angels present also went mad, leaving leadership to Sevy.
-Fallen angels can't enter Hell without it being known to Heaven.
-The four elemental angels must have their powers perserved or the very balance falls apart.

VOLUME 12
-Rosiel interferes with Setsuna's passage into Heaven but Zaphikiel, with Sara's help, saves him and disguises him to impress Anima Mundi.
-Rosiel tells Sevy that Setsuna's in Heaven.
-Sara cuts her hair and switches places with Lil to save Setsuna, promising Lil tea when she gets back. A trader recognizes Sara but the angel who molested Lil takes Sara away. Sara uses her power to resist him and the trader, who knows about the resistance, comes back to help Sara.
-Demons try to harass Raziel but he makes short work of them.
-Zaphikiel takes Setsuna to his base at the bottom level of Heaven. Zaphikiel recognizes Lailah's charm that transformed from the scale Nidheg gave Setsuna. Zaphikiel tries to pass Setsuna off as a male Alexiel but Setsuna tires of the ruse and wins over the resistance with his own words. He then escapes with another angel's bike.
-Setsuna sneaks onto the freight train where Sara and the traders are. Sara hears him but only after the doors close and they are separated. Setsuna gets spotted by a girl like Lil but she passes out and he puts on her clothes.
-Sara freaks out at not reaching Setsuna and attracts guards. The traders reveal weapons and save Sara. One trader, AF, blasts the guards with angelic power as an aion.
-Another girl drags Setsuna to Sevy, who doesn't recognize him. The angel that assaulted Sara reveals she escaped and Sevy kills him for his laviscious actions.
-Sevy tells Lil he knows what happened and kills her guards to make her talk. When he tries to force Lil's memories with a needle to her head, Setsuna intervenes and reveals the Sword but Sevy repells it with something else's power. Setsuna tries to escape with Lil but she refuses due to her promise to Sara. Setsuna escapes using the transporter. Sevy captures and tortures Lil.
-The traders take Sara to Zaphikiel. Sara reveals she understands the aion's powers and Zaphikiel's love for Raziel. Zaphikiel cautions her against being selfish.
-Setsuna tricks the guards when he arrives and takes a scientist as a hostage. Setsuna finds a lab of experiments and can't take it. He also finds the Cradle. The arriving guards shoot through the scientist and Setsuna tries to escape but nearly ends up falling to his death. Sevy shows up and tells him he dropped Lailah's charm. Setsuna accidentally reveals Zaphikiel knew about Lailah and other things. Setsuna mocks Sevy as he falls onto a sky whale.
-Sara spurns Zaphikiel's advice and runs to Setsuna, who nearly cuts her down as an attacker. Sevy's guards come after them but Zaphikiel saves them. Sara falls behind and remembers Lil, making the decision to stay in Heaven. She tells Setsuna to come for her when he becomes the true Savior. Sara lets Zaphikiel's guards take her.
-Setsuna breaks free from Zaphikiel to save Sara and Zaphikiel shields him from getting gunned down. Another resistance angel pulls Setsuna into Zaphikiel's ship, leaving Zaphikiel with the guards.
-Like Rosiel, Jibril also pitied the Grigori. Lil always wanted to be of use to Jibril.
-Lailah was working on a top secret project to create Sandalphon and Metatron when she disappeared and Sevy erased all records of her.
-Aions are the children of an angel union who have incredible powers. Raziel is also an aion but without the flaws of most aions.
-The elemental angels cannot alter their appearance for long, even their hair.
-Setsuna senses something special about guards in white uniforms.

VOLUME 13
-Setsuna wants to save Zaphikiel but the resistance says he's more important and everything was Setsuna's fault. The trader and AF sacrifice themselves to save Setsuna.
-Sara returns to Lil, who never revealed her secrets.
-Raziel learned Setsuna abandoned Zaphikiel and flips out. He goes to save Zaphikiel on his own.
-Setsuna locks himself away in a guilt-trip but Kira and Katou snark him out of it. Setsuna asks Kurai to ally with Hatter's Hell and decides to save Zaphikiel with Katou and Kira. He forgoes Sara in the meanwhile.
-Sevy tortures Zaphikiel. He wants Zaphikiel to help him find Adam Kamon but Zaphikiel refuses and Sevy reveals his jealousy. He has Zaphikiel's wings cut off in secret. As he does, Zaphikiel mentions Lailah and sends Sevy into a breakdown.
-Angels discover a red-eyed child.
-Kurai worries about Kira's connection to Lucifer.
-Anima Mundi recovers Setsuna's group after they blast them out of the sky. They tell Setsuna that Zaphikiel's wings will be cut. Anima Mundi decide to trust Setsuna again and give him Riuet as a guide. Kira says Riuet can examine Katou's body in return.
-Rosiel tries to get information from Sevy's guard, Sariel.
-Riuet blasts a guard and frames Setsuna so Kira and Katou can take over the guard's vehicle. Setsuna's group and Raziel break into Zaphikiel's prison at the same time.
-Raziel saves Setsuna from one of the crazed wingless angels. Raziel finds the crazed Zaphikiel who attacks him. Raziel refuses to escape with Setsuna as Zaphikiel continues to bite him and Kira prepares to shoot. Sariel arrives shoots Zaphikiel with a killing-virus. The prison is sinking into acid. Raziel tells Zaphikiel he can eat him if it eases his pain. Zaphikiel is about to attack Raziel again but remembers touching his face earlier.
-Katou realizes the others are in trouble and tries to get Riuet to help. He reveals his shapeshifting abilities.
-Setsuna slices off Sariel's eyepatch and falls under Sariel's control. Kira remains unaffected and Sariel recognizes him as Lucifer. He forces Setsuna to attack Kira but Zaphikiel kills him.
-Setsuna and Kurai share the tendency to only see their only problems and not the bigger picture.
-Sevy says God has left the angels and Adam Kamon stopped the higher angels from destroying Earth.
-Sevy hates Zaphikiel for corrupting Anael. Lailah was jealous of Zaphikiel's love for Anael.
-Cutting an angel's wings destroys their body and drives them insane. They ease their pain by eating the flesh of others.
-Zaphikiel made all of Anima Mundi swear never to save him if he was captured.
-Raziel was caught for experiments after he released his aion powers at cadet school.
-Rosiel knows Sariel from when he tried to destroy his eye and Rosiel saved him. Sariel's eye controls the will of others even unto death.

VOLUME 14
-Zaphikiel is pissed at Raziel for coming to save him when Raziel was supposed to bridge the gap between Setsuna and Anima Mundi. He tells Raziel to kill him. Able to function due to the virus' effect on the brain, Zaphikiel tells Setsuna he acted deceptively to force Setsuna into a confrontation with Sevy so he could see Adam Kamon again. As the prison collapses, Adam Kamon appears and reveals Zaphikiel's child survived and is Raziel. Adam Kamon grants Zaphikiel the ability to see Raziel and after he names Raziel leader of Anima Mundi, Raziel kills the crazed Zaphikiel.
-Adam Kamon tells Setsuna his time is running out and soon someone will find him. Katou and Ruiet save Setsuna's group. Raziel says it's all right to leave Zaphikiel's body since Anael already came for his soul.
-Rosiel receives Sariel's recording of Sevy's freak-out during the cutting of Zaphikiel's wings.
-Sevy dreams of Lailah due to Rosiel's spell.
-The higher angels learn Alexiel's body is with Kurai's clan. Rosiel says the only way to find Adam Kamon's site is through him and Alexiel, meaning Setsuna must die and Alexiel's body must be recovered. The angels panic over Rosiel's announcement that God is hiding and worry that Metatron is not speaking for God. Sevy calls for Michael to find Setsuna and the resistance.
-Kurai's transformation into adulthood affects her power over the dragons.
-Michael attacks Setsuna's group on Ruiet's ship but retreats when he sees Kira.
-Reaching Kurai's land, Setsuna senses something and finds Rosiel with Alexiel's body and what looks like Kurai's severed head. They fight and Setsuna says Alexiel deserted Rosiel because he's a monster.
-Rosiel uses his powers against him but Kira blocks the blow. Rosiel tortures Kira. He tells Kira that if he kills Setsuna then Alexiel will return. Rosiel removes the Sword from Kira for him to kill Setsuna but Rosiel stabs himself and Rosiel. He tells Setsuna he's the only one who ever made him forget about Alexiel before Rosiel wakes up and kills him.
-Setsuna forces out the others so he can fight Rosiel. Rosiel tears off his wing and tells him he had Kirie kill Sara. Rosiel stabs Setsuna in the eye. Katan comes to get Rosiel since Hell is collapsing with Kira's death. Setsuna swear undying hatred against Rosiel as Rosiel tells Setsuna to seek him out in Etenameki, where Adam Kamon is.
-Kira's wound acts up again and he knocks out Katou for noticing. Kira finds Kurai and the escaped demons who used a young demon's head to trick Rosiel.
-A ritual from Hell to protect the land by casting out Lucifer's body and fusing Heaven with Hell projects Setsuna back into Heaven. Michael's angels find the wounded Setsuna who tears into them.
-Sevy's guards use Lil as a hostage to make Sara come with them to the trial.
-Michael captures Setsuna to learn about Kira but Setsuna is too devastated to be of any use. Michael refuses to believe Lucifer's dead. When Setsuna taunts Michael about his inferiority to Lucifer, Michael tells the guards to kill Setsuna. Setsuna removes something that got stuck in his leg back in Kurai's land. A monster kills the guard about to shoot Setsuna.
-Sevy blackmails Raphael by capturing his assistant Barbiel. He gives him a potion to render Sara mute.
-After learning Anael was pregnant, Zaphikiel promised her his next mission would be his last and they would hide away with their child. But they both knew too much and had to be destroyed by the higher angels. Zaphikiel tried to save the unborn child but it died so he ended up projecting his paternal feelings onto Raziel.
-Zaphikiel went through everything just for the chance to scream in hatred at Adam Kamon.
-Sevy gives Metatron drugs to suppress Sandalphon inside him.
-If Kira dies, Lucifer's body will crumble and destroy Hell.
-Sevy wants Jibril's brain.
-Alexiel sacrificed Rosiel's sanity for the future of humanity.
-Lailah's charm contains her singing spirit.
-Michael is Lucifer's twin brother who bested him at everything and seemed to have no capacity for love. He was granted a position just under Adam Kamon. Michael believed he was the prince fated for darkness when he was young while Lucifer was the prince of light. A fellow student who wished to beat Lucifer challenged him once and won only to learn Lucifer hadn't truly fought. The student later committed suicide. Baru, a maid, was the only one who understood the brothers.
-High angels usually stop growing when their astral powers peak but Michael's powers developed too fast since he was the angel of fire and he stopped growing at a young age.
-When the battle between Heaven and Hell began, Michael volunteered to lead Heaven and went to kill Lucifer but Baru took the blow. Lucifer refused to even acknowledge the wound Michael gave him.

VOLUME 15
-The monster and the guard fight, each healing. Setsuna escapes disguising himself as a guard and has to fight through more guards. The monster reveals herself to be the Sword, the broken shard that was caught in Setsuna's leg, still adamant on protecting Alexiel.
-Raphael tells Sara she needs and examination before the trial and gives her Sevy's potion, afraid Barbiel might kill herself to avoid hindering Raphael. Sara tells Raphael she's going to admit everything just to spite Sevy.
-Sevy shows Raphael footage of the captive Barbiel and Raphael notices a strange ring. Sevy orders Raphael to join Michael.
-Michael appears to fight Setsuna, saying he can't believe Lucifer fell under the will of Nana's desire to protect Alexiel. But Setsuna points out Michael still loves Lucifer so the Sword won't react to his half-hearted attacks against Setsuna. He says he can understand Michael's feelings. Michael tells Setsuna that Sevy is broadcasting Sara's trial throughout Heaven and Setsuna wants to save her. Michael warns him he might go blind from what Rosiel did to his eye but Setsuna leaves.
-Metatron senses something with the elemental angels and soon attacks his guards under Sandalphon's influence. Sandalphon leads Metatron to the Cradle.
-Katan helps Rosiel break into the trial. Sevy has taken up the position of judge. Sara cannot speak at the trial and realizes Raphael poisoned her. A hologram shows Raphael describing how Sara was pregnant with Setsuna's child when her body died. (Ok, this is where I puke all over my manga.) Sara points to Sevy as Sevy says her silence is an admission of guilt.
-Michael later saves Setsuna from demons and decides to help him.
-Barbiel shifts her handcuffs to the front so she can make it look like she strangled/poisoned herself with the ring. She attacks Sevy's guards and contacts Raphael to say she's all right.
-Due to what Rosiel did to his eye, Setsuna can see what Rosiel sees. He can also possess Setsuna and wants to force Michael to watch what happens. Setsuna stabs himself in the eye to escape Rosiel's curse and the Sword transforms again.
-Raphael kills Sevy's guards and goes to Sara's trial because of his admiration for Sara. Raphael breaks into court just as Sara has lost all hope. He kisses Sara to heal her and Sara confesses her love and condemns the angels as cowards for being afraid to love. Raphael shows that Sevy controlled Jibril into reincarnating as Setsuna's guardian with his needles.
-Sevy's about to arrest Raphael when Uriel, the angel of judgement, appears and says the trial is invalid since Sevy's name isn't on the list of registered high angels. He accuses Sevy of being an imposter. As proof Uriel shows Sevy the face of the real Sevothtarte, which Sevy claims to not recognize.
-Sevy tries to attack Sara but Raphael protects her. Raphael encourages the angels to rise up against Sevy.
-Metatron releases the Cradle's seal as Sevy has a breakdown and Setsuna/Michael prepare to ram the trial. Sandalphon/Cradle destroy the trial building with their power and Setsuna sees Sevy's true identity.
-After Heaven won the fight, Michael went insane from Lucifer's refusal to acknowledge him. He burned everyone around him until Raphael showed up and helped him recover. Michael was still angry at Lucifer for betraying him and eventually choosing to side with Setsuna.
-The elemental angels are like siblings to each other.
-The Sword is synthesized from ether and rumored to be a match for Michael's Sword of Flame. It was also said to have an evil fallen angel grafted into it.
-Rosiel loves anyone who hates him tremendously.
-Zaphikiel left Uriel a file containing all his research before he died.
-An angel named Sevothtarte played a minor role in the battle of Heaven and Hell and was badly burned, forcing him to hide his face behind a mask. Everyone who knew him was given missions that led to their deaths.

-Sara mopes over a ring Setsuna gave her when they were kids.
-Police ask Setsuna about Katou's death but Kurai tells Setsuna to stop Sara from leaving. They love each other and run away to be incesty dorks.
-Kira helps Setsuna and confesses to Katou's murder.
-Metatron fears Rosiel but loves the frozen Jibril.
-Zaphikiel suspects Sevotharte (Sevy).
-Kirie loves Rosiel but Rosiel is freaking out over Sara/Setsuna sex.
-Arachne comes to help Kira as Setsuna goes to save Kira.
-The prophet tells Kurai the world will end tomorrow.
-Setsuna's spirit visits Kira and Kira tells him not go rescue him. He also meets Metatron. Confusing whether it's Setsuna or Alexiel or both speaking to Kira here.

-Blood originally calls to Alexiel and makes Setsuna violent.
-The real Kira and his mother died in a car crash and the Sword made a bet with the real Kira to use his body but to make Kira's father hate him so he wouldn't be sad when Kira died.
-Alexiel was fated to live tragic lives and die but the Sword changed that when he killed her while in the body of one of her reincarnation's lovers. Alexiel had been a brothel girl trying to escape with her love, who was killed and made a deal with Nana to give Alexiel peace. Alexiel killed her pursuers with her power but was due for torture so Nana killed her. Alexiel's spirit thanked him before she died and he realized his love for her and killed all her pursuers.
-Nana took the samuari sword of the lover and sealed it into his body so he could call it at will.
-Nana has always followed Alexie's reincarnations to protect her but could never save her until then.
-Katan was originally a Grigor (spirit without form) that Rosiel gave form because Rosiel cared for the Grigor (punished for mating with humans). Katan was determined to reach Rosiel's place in Heaven to see him again. At first Rosiel pretended not to know him but in private recanted. Katan is like Rosiel's son.
-Katan hates hurting innocents but Kirei is willing to do whatever to prove her worth and earn Rosiel's love.
-Rosiel thinks Alexiel hates him.

VOLUME 4
-Kira and his father bond. Kira's dying so Setsuna heals the Pendant against Adam Kamon's advice.
-Adam Kamon tells Setsuna to rescue him from Heaven and that Sara's death was necessary to Alexiel's awakening. He can return time to just before Setsuna destroyed Tokyo.
-Setsuna agrees to go to Hell by letting Kira stabbing him with another version of the Sword so that if the Sword is removed and his body is not back in seven days, he will die permanently.
-Rosiel tries to feed Katan a Golem pill, which he eventually swallows but takes a long time reviving. When he does revive, he's a Golem that eats people.
-Rosiel returns to Heaven as the others are learning of what transpired on Earth
-Enra-o tells Setsuna that Sara was taken by Uriel as a sacrifice to Yggdrasil for her sins. He names Katou as Setsuna's guide. Enra-o really wants Katou to destroy Setsuna in return for sparing Katou from Hell.
-Kurai brings Setsuna's body to her part of Hell as Boyz tells Kira he stinks of human.
-Rosiel saves Metatron from an assassin and gains approval.
-Sevy cuts the wings off Lilith as Dobiel declares his loyalty to Sevy.
-Katou's treachery of trying to steal Setsuna's energy with his cross rod causes the drug's effects to return but Setsuna saves him from a ghoul.
-A special ghoul working for Uriel goes after Setsuna, pretending to have Sara's ring. She attacks him but Setsuna heals her soul.
-Zaphikiel spies on Sevy.
-The ghoul's mask goes into Katou.
-All who use the Sword lose their minds or kill themselves. Nana is not supposed to know true emotions.
-Rosiel wanted Katan to return to Heaven to be safe from him. He believes Katan is the only good thing about his life.

-Rosiel ponders Sevy's plans.
-Sevy suggests experimenting on Raziel while Sevy and Zaphikiel discuss the Angel war. Sevy tells Zaphikiel not to betray him.
-Setsuna finds Yggrasil but falls. Katou at first tries to kill him but changes his mind and suffers from the pain of the mask.
-The Doll appears with Sara's ring and tries to make Katou kill Setsuna but Katou evenutally breaks free and makes Setsuna stab him with the cross rod.
-Setsuna accepts the Doll isn't Sara and uses Alexiel's powers but Yggrasil protects her.
-Uriel says Setsuna must beat him to make him talk. Setsuna defeats him with a piece of Katou's mask.
-Tiara bonds with Golem!Katan as Rosiel kills Dobiel's assassins. She says he'll take Katan away to stop the killing.
-Uriel's mask breaks and he remembers Alexiel and says he can save Katou. When Katou died, Setsuna unconsciously used time magic that allowed Katou's soul to go into the cross rod. But once Setsuna uses his positive energy to bring back Katou, Katou will be bound to Alexiel's fate.
-Setsuna learns Zaphikiel took Sara's soul to Heaven.
-Alexiel saves Katou by feeding him her feather and Katou sees his sister never forgot him. Katou chooses to be Alexiel's guardian rather than be reborn.
-Uriel has mood swings due to his mask. He asks Setsuna to kill him.
-Uriel was in love with Alexiel and has been missing for some time after helping send Alexiel's body to hell and cursing her to always suffer and die.

VOLUME 6
-Setsuna spares Uriel
-Dobiel again tries to kill Rosiel but Rosiel tricks and kills the assassin. Dobiel shoots Rosiel with a poison that eats his cells but it won't effect him. Dobiels kills himself and blows up the building. Katan saves Rosiel. Rosiel gives Dobiel his blood.
-Tiara gets shot to death protecting Katan and Katan kills the other assassins, ultimately choosing Rosiel over the pure life Tiara promised. Although Rosiel wants to make Tiara into one of them, Katan refuses.
-Boyz hates how Kurai chooses humans and Setsuna over him. He tries to remove the sword but Kira stops him. When Boyz says Kira wants Alexiel and not Setsuna, Kira accidentally knocks him into Setsuna and causes him to remove the sword.
-Setsuna dreams of Lailah.
-Setsuna and Katou fight Enra-o. But when Setsuna's sword is removed, Enra-o tries to tempt Katou. Katou breaks free and releases the souls in Enra-O.
-Mad Hatter controls Noyz and later reveals herself to attack the demons. She wants Kurai to join her against the angels but Kurai refuses.
-The dragon Nidheg is hurt in the fight.
-Katou says he can't return to Earth since his power is limited to Hell and he put all his energy into using the cross rod against Enra-O. Katou dies but is saved by Uriel.
-Raziel stumbles into where Zaphikiel's keeping Sara to keep her from Sevy.
-Rosiel as Dobiel confronts Sevy.
-Uriel believed Alexiel loved God but God only loved Rosiel.
-Enra-o wanted to destroy Setsuna to prevent all possiblity of his failure.
-Rosiel and Alexiel both have Adam Kamon's blood.
-Nidheg was another ghoul given form by Uriel.

VOLUME 7
-Nidheg wants Setsuna to find Lailah. He gives Setsuna his scale with his memories as he dies.
-Sevy pretends to swear allegiance to Rosiel.
-After speaking with Adam Kamon about trouble in Heaven, Setsuna awakens as Alexiel since his body is dead. Kira's will brought him back. Rabbit eyes startle Adam Kamon during their talk.
-Mad Hatter wants to bring Kurai to Lucifer and seems to recognize Kira. She offers a spell to save Setsuna instead of sending Setsuna to Heaven if Kurai agrees to be a bride of Hell. Kurai is forbidden to tell anyone of the bargain.
-Michael has a stand-in while he wreaks havoc in Heaven. He goes to find Raphael after Sevy attempts to spy on him. Raphael later goes to find him before he encounters Setsuna and Kira.
-Setsuna as Alexiel teases Boyz for killing him as something evil remains inside Noyz. Demons want to destroy Setsuna's body.
-Raziel has dreams of Sara and wants Zaphikiel to awaken her. Zaphikiel works with undercover agents.
-Kira doesn't want Setsuna to cut Alexiel's hair. It reminds him how Mad Hatter says people only see Alexiel. Kira tells Setsuna he killed Alexiel's guardian angel, raped Alexiel and then killed her.
-Hatter later says Kira's actions were a ruse to flush Hatter out and sends Setsuna to save his body.
-The Sword doesn't want anyone but Alexiel to touch him.
-Setsuna as Alexiel has to stop himself from being overcome by the Sword's rage as Noyz tries to make Setsuna kill her to prove Setsuna's a traitor. Setsuna stops but the Hatter's feathers kill a demon and the group has to escape. Boyz decides to temporarily trust Setsuna.
-Ghouls are all former angels who lost their minds and memories. They wandered aimlessly until Uriel started helping them when he arrived.
-Lailah blames Nidheg for attacks she unleashed on others and sent him and others to their deaths.
-Nidheg loved Lailah and so ended up trapping her in a maze of her mind. Lailah loves him back but was afraid.
-Michael hates it when people mention his brother Lucifer or his height.
-Raziel was born with unusually high powers and experimented on until Zaphikiel saved him, for which he is eternally grateful. Zaphikiel just wants to see Raziel's face.
-Mad Hatter doesn't worry about gender and only allows Lucifer to call her by her true name Belial.
-Kira claims to hate Alexiel for making him weak. Alexiel was the only one who could wield the Sword without going crazy.

VOLUME 8
-Boyz creates protective field for Setsuna's body.
-A spy goes after Metatron but sees Sevy's face and is rendered mute by Sevy. He tries to make the spy tell him who his leader is but the paralyzed Jibril somehow interferes.
-Michael fights Setsuna!Alexiel and though Setsuna catches him off-guard, he can't control his powers and Michael escapes. Michael stabs Setsuna but Boyz takes a blow protecting him from a fatal attack and loses an arm, saying it was for Kurai.
-Metatron sees Bunny's true form as a young man. Bunny makes Metatron remove Jibril's needle. Sevy destroys the stuffed rabbit but not the real one.
-Setsuna gets his third wing as Raphael tries to stop the fight. Sara's soul reveals itself before the fighters. After Raphael drags Michael away, Michael breaks up their friendship.
-The spy tells Zaphikiel about the needle paralyzing Jibril but dies as result of Sevy's earlier attack.
-The demons struggle to save Boyz as Noyz tries to contain her own evil from Hatter. But it escapes and Setsuna stabs it. The demons agree to trust Setsuna for now and Setsuna meets with the prophets.
-Hatter gives Kurai Pandora's Box to pour on Setsuna and awaken him, becoming Hell's Bride at the same time. She kisses Kurai in front of Setsuna.
-Sara slowly regains her memory but is blind. She runs into Raphael.
-The demon is undead that keeps coming back to kill Setsuna. The wound it gives Kira won't heal. Kurai agrees to watch it.
-Hatter makes Kurai an older woman to seduce Setsuna.
-Kira can see Alexiel's thoughts/feelings when she holds the Sword.
-Belial used to seduce high-ranking angels until Lucifer caught her. The angels killed themselves but Lucifer stopper her from doing the same.
-Sara awakens in Jibril's body.

VOLUME 9
-Sara sees Raphael's encounter with Setsuna!Alexiel after he tries to perv on her. He has her disguise as a servant to get by Sevy. He heals her eyes but refuses to save Setsuna for nothing. Sara agrees to have sex with him for Setsuna but later attacks him before Michael shows up.
-Kurai confesses her love but tries to pretend it was a joke and says she loves Hatter.
-Kira realizes he's dying and if he dies again, he will return to the Sword.
-Hatter's potion won't really save Setsuna but the naive Kurai gives Setsuna Pandora's Box as Noyz gives Boyz a special ring. Hatter takes Kurai.
-Boyz goes to find Kurai but finds Arachne's shrine to Lucifer and is killed. Noyz steals the revival potion for Boyz after Hatter's monster reveals everything. Arachne shatters the bottle.
-Setsuna says the deal with Hatter is off and they are going to Hell to reclaim Kurai. Noyz cuts her hair and wants to go. Kira cuts up the monster to get it to open a gate to Hell. He is distant with Setsuna.
-Kira goes to die by Setsuna's body and notices an earring missing. Hatter heals him.
-Kurai kept Setsuna's earring to remember him. She falls into the pit with a monster Abaddon that immediately kills anyone who sees it when she attempts to throw the earring out the window. But the power in the earring protects her from its effect. Kurai and Abaddon bond.
-Hatter orders Arachne through her earring to throw Setsuna into the Lethe River, which will cause him to lose his memories and be easily controlled. Setsuna sees Sara in the River as Arachne prepares to push him in.
-Astarte finds Kurai.
-Arachne was working for Hatter and helped take out Kurai's clan.
-The high ranking Satans dislike the lower ranking Evils.
-Asmodeus wants Hatter to realize Lucifer will never love her.
-Hatter collects the Brides to sacrifice to Lucifer's body.

VOLUME 10
-Setsuna as Alexiel realizes Arachne's intent and escapes with Noyz.
-Astarte tells Kurai about her baby but when Astoreth shows up in her body, the baby is destroyed. Astoreth likes to torture things and takes Kurai hostage, telling her Astarte cannot have a child. He tells her she was tricked and attempts to rape her but Astarte regains control. Astarte tries to eat Kurai to have another baby but Abaddon saves her by severing his own hand and chains.
-A cloaked figure masquerading as Setsuna with three wings returns to Tokyo and beats up Michael's men.
-Hatter plays a chess game to make things happen in Hell and when Setsuna tries to escape, the Sword tells him to cut into the ground and changes shape.
-Hatter captures Setsuna and Noyz, telling Setsuna he must find Kurai within the realm of the seven sins before his torture device kills Noyz.
-Kira is agonizing over his connection to hell when the imposture shows up and reveals himself as Katou.
-Abaddon kills Astarte but Astarte uses her power to save Astoreth by splitting the snake. Astoreth pretends not to care. Hatter gives him a wedding invite.
-Setsuna tries to manipulate Asmodeus into helping him but Asmodeus easily kills Setsuna's hostage. The blow was meant to poison Setsuna but the Pendant protects him. Seeing that Setsuna is the Savior, Asmodeus agrees to join forces.
-Kira goes to Hell to protect Setsuna, leaving Katou in charge of Setsuna's body. Katou steals Setsuna's body.
-Arachne taunts the captive Noyz and shows her Boyz's ring. He breaks the torture device so Noyz can escape. Setsuna learns this and goes with Asmodeus.
-Kurai is trying to find a way out of Hell but Arachne catches her as Abaddon tries to protect her.
-Michael, Raphael and Sara show up to fight Katou but Uriel shows up to protect him and Setsuna's body. He tells Raphael to resurrect Setsuna, which Raphael agrees to in exchange for Sara's kiss.
-Asmodeus presents a lifeless Alexiel to the wedding but Abaddon crashes the party.
-Noyz confronts Arachne, who tries to summon the Great Dragon and fails. Noyz attacks Arachne, who is busy remembering Boyz and Kai. Injured, he returns the ring and earring.
-Setsuna reveals himself as alive and saves Kurai by sticking the Sword into a wall that has Kira's face.
-Sevy reincarnated Sara's soul into Jibril as Setsuna's guardian angel after Nana killed an earlier reincarnation's guardian.
-Astarte and Astaroth were created when God attempted to make another Adam Kamon. Born as twins, Astarte's conscience was put into Astoreth's body but Astoreth rebelled and became vicious. Astoreth's hatred for God was the only thing that kept him sane. Lucifer used a snake with two head and two genders to hold their souls while one was in control. Black for Astoreth and white for Astarte.
-Uriel made Katou a new body from plants after his old one was destroyed but Katou also absorbed Alexiel's power from the wing he was fed.
-Asmodeus craves Hatter.
-Told he would be the third prince by prophecy, Arachne was raised in isolation. When Kurai was born, Arachne was ignored by everyone but his friend Kai. An assassin came to kill Arachne, unknowing that the true ruler was Kurai. Kai was killed in the battle and Arachne learned he'd been used. Hatter gave Arachne power to kill the real Arachne and assume her identity. He swore allegience to Lucifer.
-Angels are born genderless but their sex later appears.
-Belial tooks potions to make her a woman but stopped before the change was complete to resist God's plan. Lucifer found her and told her to join him but refused to fall for her. Hatters feels she is not worth of being a bride.
-Arachne needs the earring of the Dragon Stone to rule his clan and takes it from Kurai.
-Arachane killed Boyz because his loyalty reminded him too much of Kai.

VOLUME 11
-An injured Arachne stabs Hatter after Hatter reveals all of Hell will collapse if the final bride isn't in her place. He returns his demon mark and reveals he too is a virgin. He tells Kurai to let Setsuna protect her and sacrifices himself.
-Abaddon protects Kurai from part of Hell's destruction as she is separated from Setsuna.
-Asmodeus saves Hatter, saying she's beautiful.
-Alexiel sees Kira and she refers to him as Lucifer. They get intimate and Alexiel tries to stab Kira but he notices and accuses her of only wanting him for Lucifer's soul. Alexiel tells Kira there's no point in loving her since she is a selfish being.
-Sandalphon appears again within Metatron's world. He tries to interfer with the ressurection, reaching a hand through the special field Uriel created and chases Michael and Raphael off once Setsuna is breathing again.
-Uriel and Raphael are trying to revive Setsuna as Sara also uses Jibril's water powers to help them.
-Sara's vision returns and she wakes Setsuna with her voice and Setsuna's powers force Sandalphon away, promising Sara he'll come get her.
-Hatter prepares magic to return Kira, Kurai, Noyz and Alexiel's body to Kurai's clan.
-Raziel helps Zaphikiel by giving aid to the slums of Heaven, convinced the higher angels are right in punishing the fallen to maintain order. Someone tries to attack him but reveals herself to be an one-winged angel, Shateiel. Raziel asks Sevy to help the slums, despite Zaphikiel's protests. He gives Shateiel his army necklace after learning what his fellow angels have been doing to fallen. But the gifts Raziel was given were bombs and kill Raziel's new friends.
-Setsuna is relieved to see Katou again.
-Sevy captured Sara when Michael and Raphael returned to Heaven and is using her as bait to lure Setsuna.
-Raziel tries to attack Sevy for using him but Sevy attacks him and is about to condemn him as a cohort of the fallen angels when Zaphikiel interferes, saying it's Raziel's fault everyone died.
-Kurai promises her clan to never again abandon them and honor Arachne's memory.
-Raziels asks to leave Zaphikiel's service because he cannot forgive Sevy and he doesn't want to endanger Zaphikiel. Zaphikiel reveals he is also a fallen angel and Raziel agrees to work for him.
Zaphikiel sends Raziel to meet Setsuna with a message from Zaphikiel about joining with the rebel group Anima Mundi to stop Sevy and save Sara. Sevy plans to pass on Jibril's powers and then kill her after trying her for incest. Zaphikiel offers Hell Raziel in exchange for Setsuna. Raziel is antsy but agrees to help Setsuna. Since Setsuna is going alone, Kurai returns his earring.
-Sara deals with a Grigori whose mind was modified to only follow orders. She writes down notes about Sara's human behavior for Sevy. Sara names her Moonlil.
-Lucifer joined his body with Hell to give it life when he escape there with other fallen angels before his soul was taken away by a man in black. Without his soul, Lucifer's body continues to expand and needs the 999 brides to keep Hell from self-destructing.
-Arachne enjoyed the time he spent pretending to be Kurai's friend and cousin.
-Hatter too wishes she could have been a bride.
-Rosiel and Alexiel's curse can only be ended by God's death.
-Rosiel made Alexiel promise to kill him if he went insane but Alexiel could not face the pleading voice of her brother during the battle between Heaven and Hell. She hides within Setsuna because she can neither kill or face Rosiel.
-Alexiel calls Setsuna the true Messiah. She says she must kill Kira before Lucifer awakens and destroys the still weak Setsuna.
-Children of angels and angels are sometimes born with red pupils and pale skin and seen as mistakes, their parents branded as fallen angels.
-Raziel can see another's past just by touching them.
-Zaphikiel also used to kill fallen angels and seduce a woman named Anael. But Zaphikiel also toyed with Anael's friend, Lailah's, emotions. His hunting methods angered Sevy but Zaphikiel said he enjoyed the job too much to quit, despite the danger it put Anael in. He went on a special mission and was told to kill the mute spy but it was really a disguised Anael set up by Sevy. Anael had been part of a resistance against the higher angels called Sandalphon. In her memory, Zaphikiel took up leadership of the resistance.
-Zaphikiel tried to kill himself but was saved and blinded by Adam Kamon. The high angels present also went mad, leaving leadership to Sevy.
-Fallen angels can't enter Hell without it being known to Heaven.
-The four elemental angels must have their powers perserved or the very balance falls apart.

VOLUME 12
-Rosiel interferes with Setsuna's passage into Heaven but Zaphikiel, with Sara's help, saves him and disguises him to impress Anima Mundi.
-Rosiel tells Sevy that Setsuna's in Heaven.
-Sara cuts her hair and switches places with Lil to save Setsuna, promising Lil tea when she gets back. A trader recognizes Sara but the angel who molested Lil takes Sara away. Sara uses her power to resist him and the trader, who knows about the resistance, comes back to help Sara.
-Demons try to harass Raziel but he makes short work of them.
-Zaphikiel takes Setsuna to his base at the bottom level of Heaven. Zaphikiel recognizes Lailah's charm that transformed from the scale Nidheg gave Setsuna. Zaphikiel tries to pass Setsuna off as a male Alexiel but Setsuna tires of the ruse and wins over the resistance with his own words. He then escapes with another angel's bike.
-Setsuna sneaks onto the freight train where Sara and the traders are. Sara hears him but only after the doors close and they are separated. Setsuna gets spotted by a girl like Lil but she passes out and he puts on her clothes.
-Sara freaks out at not reaching Setsuna and attracts guards. The traders reveal weapons and save Sara. One trader, AF, blasts the guards with angelic power as an aion.
-Another girl drags Setsuna to Sevy, who doesn't recognize him. The angel that assaulted Sara reveals she escaped and Sevy kills him for his laviscious actions.
-Sevy tells Lil he knows what happened and kills her guards to make her talk. When he tries to force Lil's memories with a needle to her head, Setsuna intervenes and reveals the Sword but Sevy repells it with something else's power. Setsuna tries to escape with Lil but she refuses due to her promise to Sara. Setsuna escapes using the transporter. Sevy captures and tortures Lil.
-The traders take Sara to Zaphikiel. Sara reveals she understands the aion's powers and Zaphikiel's love for Raziel. Zaphikiel cautions her against being selfish.
-Setsuna tricks the guards when he arrives and takes a scientist as a hostage. Setsuna finds a lab of experiments and can't take it. He also finds the Cradle. The arriving guards shoot through the scientist and Setsuna tries to escape but nearly ends up falling to his death. Sevy shows up and tells him he dropped Lailah's charm. Setsuna accidentally reveals Zaphikiel knew about Lailah and other things. Setsuna mocks Sevy as he falls onto a sky whale.
-Sara spurns Zaphikiel's advice and runs to Setsuna, who nearly cuts her down as an attacker. Sevy's guards come after them but Zaphikiel saves them. Sara falls behind and remembers Lil, making the decision to stay in Heaven. She tells Setsuna to come for her when he becomes the true Savior. Sara lets Zaphikiel's guards take her.
-Setsuna breaks free from Zaphikiel to save Sara and Zaphikiel shields him from getting gunned down. Another resistance angel pulls Setsuna into Zaphikiel's ship, leaving Zaphikiel with the guards.
-Like Rosiel, Jibril also pitied the Grigori. Lil always wanted to be of use to Jibril.
-Lailah was working on a top secret project to create Sandalphon and Metatron when she disappeared and Sevy erased all records of her.
-Aions are the children of an angel union who have incredible powers. Raziel is also an aion but without the flaws of most aions.
-The elemental angels cannot alter their appearance for long, even their hair.
-Setsuna senses something special about guards in white uniforms.

VOLUME 13
-Setsuna wants to save Zaphikiel but the resistance says he's more important and everything was Setsuna's fault. The trader and AF sacrifice themselves to save Setsuna.
-Sara returns to Lil, who never revealed her secrets.
-Raziel learned Setsuna abandoned Zaphikiel and flips out. He goes to save Zaphikiel on his own.
-Setsuna locks himself away in a guilt-trip but Kira and Katou snark him out of it. Setsuna asks Kurai to ally with Hatter's Hell and decides to save Zaphikiel with Katou and Kira. He forgoes Sara in the meanwhile.
-Sevy tortures Zaphikiel. He wants Zaphikiel to help him find Adam Kamon but Zaphikiel refuses and Sevy reveals his jealousy. He has Zaphikiel's wings cut off in secret. As he does, Zaphikiel mentions Lailah and sends Sevy into a breakdown.
-Angels discover a red-eyed child.
-Kurai worries about Kira's connection to Lucifer.
-Anima Mundi recovers Setsuna's group after they blast them out of the sky. They tell Setsuna that Zaphikiel's wings will be cut. Anima Mundi decide to trust Setsuna again and give him Riuet as a guide. Kira says Riuet can examine Katou's body in return.
-Rosiel tries to get information from Sevy's guard, Sariel.
-Riuet blasts a guard and frames Setsuna so Kira and Katou can take over the guard's vehicle. Setsuna's group and Raziel break into Zaphikiel's prison at the same time.
-Raziel saves Setsuna from one of the crazed wingless angels. Raziel finds the crazed Zaphikiel who attacks him. Raziel refuses to escape with Setsuna as Zaphikiel continues to bite him and Kira prepares to shoot. Sariel arrives shoots Zaphikiel with a killing-virus. The prison is sinking into acid. Raziel tells Zaphikiel he can eat him if it eases his pain. Zaphikiel is about to attack Raziel again but remembers touching his face earlier.
-Katou realizes the others are in trouble and tries to get Riuet to help. He reveals his shapeshifting abilities.
-Setsuna slices off Sariel's eyepatch and falls under Sariel's control. Kira remains unaffected and Sariel recognizes him as Lucifer. He forces Setsuna to attack Kira but Zaphikiel kills him.
-Setsuna and Kurai share the tendency to only see their only problems and not the bigger picture.
-Sevy says God has left the angels and Adam Kamon stopped the higher angels from destroying Earth.
-Sevy hates Zaphikiel for corrupting Anael. Lailah was jealous of Zaphikiel's love for Anael.
-Cutting an angel's wings destroys their body and drives them insane. They ease their pain by eating the flesh of others.
-Zaphikiel made all of Anima Mundi swear never to save him if he was captured.
-Raziel was caught for experiments after he released his aion powers at cadet school.
-Rosiel knows Sariel from when he tried to destroy his eye and Rosiel saved him. Sariel's eye controls the will of others even unto death.

VOLUME 14
-Zaphikiel is pissed at Raziel for coming to save him when Raziel was supposed to bridge the gap between Setsuna and Anima Mundi. He tells Raziel to kill him. Able to function due to the virus' effect on the brain, Zaphikiel tells Setsuna he acted deceptively to force Setsuna into a confrontation with Sevy so he could see Adam Kamon again. As the prison collapses, Adam Kamon appears and reveals Zaphikiel's child survived and is Raziel. Adam Kamon grants Zaphikiel the ability to see Raziel and after he names Raziel leader of Anima Mundi, Raziel kills the crazed Zaphikiel.
-Adam Kamon tells Setsuna his time is running out and soon someone will find him. Katou and Ruiet save Setsuna's group. Raziel says it's all right to leave Zaphikiel's body since Anael already came for his soul.
-Rosiel receives Sariel's recording of Sevy's freak-out during the cutting of Zaphikiel's wings.
-Sevy dreams of Lailah due to Rosiel's spell.
-The higher angels learn Alexiel's body is with Kurai's clan. Rosiel says the only way to find Adam Kamon's site is through him and Alexiel, meaning Setsuna must die and Alexiel's body must be recovered. The angels panic over Rosiel's announcement that God is hiding and worry that Metatron is not speaking for God. Sevy calls for Michael to find Setsuna and the resistance.
-Kurai's transformation into adulthood affects her power over the dragons.
-Michael attacks Setsuna's group on Ruiet's ship but retreats when he sees Kira.
-Reaching Kurai's land, Setsuna senses something and finds Rosiel with Alexiel's body and what looks like Kurai's severed head. They fight and Setsuna says Alexiel deserted Rosiel because he's a monster.
-Rosiel uses his powers against him but Kira blocks the blow. Rosiel tortures Kira. He tells Kira that if he kills Setsuna then Alexiel will return. Rosiel removes the Sword from Kira for him to kill Setsuna but Rosiel stabs himself and Rosiel. He tells Setsuna he's the only one who ever made him forget about Alexiel before Rosiel wakes up and kills him.
-Setsuna forces out the others so he can fight Rosiel. Rosiel tears off his wing and tells him he had Kirie kill Sara. Rosiel stabs Setsuna in the eye. Katan comes to get Rosiel since Hell is collapsing with Kira's death. Setsuna swear undying hatred against Rosiel as Rosiel tells Setsuna to seek him out in Etenameki, where Adam Kamon is.
-Kira's wound acts up again and he knocks out Katou for noticing. Kira finds Kurai and the escaped demons who used a young demon's head to trick Rosiel.
-A ritual from Hell to protect the land by casting out Lucifer's body and fusing Heaven with Hell projects Setsuna back into Heaven. Michael's angels find the wounded Setsuna who tears into them.
-Sevy's guards use Lil as a hostage to make Sara come with them to the trial.
-Michael captures Setsuna to learn about Kira but Setsuna is too devastated to be of any use. Michael refuses to believe Lucifer's dead. When Setsuna taunts Michael about his inferiority to Lucifer, Michael tells the guards to kill Setsuna. Setsuna removes something that got stuck in his leg back in Kurai's land. A monster kills the guard about to shoot Setsuna.
-Sevy blackmails Raphael by capturing his assistant Barbiel. He gives him a potion to render Sara mute.
-After learning Anael was pregnant, Zaphikiel promised her his next mission would be his last and they would hide away with their child. But they both knew too much and had to be destroyed by the higher angels. Zaphikiel tried to save the unborn child but it died so he ended up projecting his paternal feelings onto Raziel.
-Zaphikiel went through everything just for the chance to scream in hatred at Adam Kamon.
-Sevy gives Metatron drugs to suppress Sandalphon inside him.
-If Kira dies, Lucifer's body will crumble and destroy Hell.

-Michael is Lucifer's twin brother who bested him at everything and seemed to have no capacity for love. He was granted a position just under Adam Kamon. Michael believed he was the prince fated for darkness when he was young while Lucifer was the prince of light. A fellow student who wished to beat Lucifer challenged him once and won only to learn Lucifer hadn't truly fought. The student later committed suicide. Baru, a maid, was the only one who understood the brothers.
-High angels usually stop growing when their astral powers peak but Michael's powers developed too fast since he was the angel of fire and he stopped growing at a young age.
-When the battle between Heaven and Hell began, Michael volunteered to lead Heaven and went to kill Lucifer but Baru took the blow. Lucifer refused to even acknowledge the wound Michael gave him.

VOLUME 15
-The monster and the guard fight, each healing. Setsuna escapes disguising himself as a guard and has to fight through more guards. The monster reveals herself to be the Sword, the broken shard that was caught in Setsuna's leg, still adamant on protecting Alexiel.
-Raphael tells Sara she needs and examination before the trial and gives her Sevy's potion, afraid Barbiel might kill herself to avoid hindering Raphael. Sara tells Raphael she's going to admit everything just to spite Sevy.
-Sevy shows Raphael footage of the captive Barbiel and Raphael notices a strange ring. Sevy orders Raphael to join Michael.
-Michael appears to fight Setsuna, saying he can't believe Lucifer fell under the will of Nana's desire to protect Alexiel. But Setsuna points out Michael still loves Lucifer so the Sword won't react to his half-hearted attacks against Setsuna. He says he can understand Michael's feelings. Michael tells Setsuna that Sevy is broadcasting Sara's trial throughout Heaven and Setsuna wants to save her. Michael warns him he might go blind from what Rosiel did to his eye but Setsuna leaves.
-Metatron senses something with the elemental angels and soon attacks his guards under Sandalphon's influence. Sandalphon leads Metatron to the Cradle.
-Katan helps Rosiel break into the trial. Sevy has taken up the position of judge. Sara cannot speak at the trial and realizes Raphael poisoned her. A hologram shows Raphael describing how Sara was pregnant with Setsuna's child when her body died. (Ok, this is where I puke all over my manga.) Sara points to Sevy as Sevy says her silence is an admission of guilt.
-Michael later saves Setsuna from demons and decides to help him.
-Barbiel shifts her handcuffs to the front so she can make it look like she strangled/poisoned herself with the ring. She attacks Sevy's guards and contacts Raphael to say she's all right.
-Due to what Rosiel did to his eye, Setsuna can see what Rosiel sees. He can also possess Setsuna and wants to force Michael to watch what happens. Setsuna stabs himself in the eye to escape Rosiel's curse and the Sword transforms again.
-Raphael kills Sevy's guards and goes to Sara's trial because of his admiration for Sara. Raphael breaks into court just as Sara has lost all hope. He kisses Sara to heal her and Sara confesses her love and condemns the angels as cowards for being afraid to love. Raphael shows that Sevy controlled Jibril into reincarnating as Setsuna's guardian with his needles.
-Sevy's about to arrest Raphael when Uriel, the angel of judgement, appears and says the trial is invalid since Sevy's name isn't on the list of registered high angels. He accuses Sevy of being an imposter. As proof Uriel shows Sevy the face of the real Sevothtarte, which Sevy claims to not recognize.
-Sevy tries to attack Sara but Raphael protects her. Raphael encourages the angels to rise up against Sevy.
-Metatron releases the Cradle's seal as Sevy has a breakdown and Setsuna/Michael prepare to ram the trial. Sandalphon/Cradle destroy the trial building with their power and Setsuna sees Sevy's true identity.
-After Heaven won the fight, Michael went insane from Lucifer's refusal to acknowledge him. He burned everyone around him until Raphael showed up and helped him recover. Michael was still angry at Lucifer for betraying him and eventually choosing to side with Setsuna.
-The elemental angels are like siblings to each other.
-The Sword is synthesized from ether and rumored to be a match for Michael's Sword of Flame. It was also said to have an evil fallen angel grafted into it.
-Rosiel loves anyone who hates him tremendously.
-Zaphikiel left Uriel a file containing all his research before he died.
-An angel named Sevothtarte played a minor role in the battle of Heaven and Hell and was badly burned, forcing him to hide his face behind a mask. Everyone who knew him was given missions that led to their deaths.
-Angels jealous of Lailah's success raped her, mocking her beautiful singing voice.
-The true Sandalphon is a glowing orb with no lings and six wings at its head.
