They can't tell me who to be because I'm not what they see

Note to self, not a good idea to stay up to 5 a.m. when you told work you'll be in at 10 a.m.

I also learned that due to my strange tendency to RP godmodders, playing things by ear may not be the best of steps. Sure it leads to fun surprises but also surprises of the "OMG you touched my GODMOD button DIE!" kind, and those are much less cool. I adore my godmodders, but I try to keep any instances of their "fuck with time and space continuum" powers down to bare minimum.

My coworker is such a funny guy. I had a meeting to attend tomorrow, one that requires massive research binders. So I ask him which one of the binders should I take. He tells me the budget one. Having not looked at the binders, I realize all too late that THEY'RE ALL THE FREAKIN' BUDGET. Hah hah.

I reserve such phrases for characters such as Sasuke, who are, in fact, being led astray by outside sources and to the point where it's highly likely they'll kill themselves if they continue on this path. That said, I don't see Lelouch as falling into this category. As vicious as Lelouch's plan may seem to some -- me, he's a revolutionary so he's not really doing anything any other revolutionary wouldn't do -- I don't think, on the whole, that he is being forced. The Geass incident did result in his new play at trying to be an unfeeling demon, but he's still largely acting on his own terms and for his own goals. I've seen the world "terrorist" tossed around, not surprising since it is what the Britannians call the rebels. But it's important to remember the old saying that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. It all depends on who wins. Hence, why I prefer the term revolutionary; it fits the extremist and die-hard quality of the rebellion.

Getting back to topic, some say they hope Suzaku will save him. From what? From his dream/vision? Or from the persona he's trying very hard to fully integrate into? Either one is Lelouch's choice alone. I doubt anyone, possibly even Nunnally, will be able to make Lelouch stop lying to himself if this is how he maintains his control. Even when he was ready to join Euphemia, he still had his goal of a revamped Britannia in mind. That never changed, merely the method he was going to use to achieve it. Lelouch is not in the running for one of my redeemed sinner positions. Rather he's a sinner who truly believes the ends justify the means, and I would personally be annoyed if anyone other than himself/even more tragic event convinces him otherwise. It does smack of Light's justification but unlike Light, Lelouch honestly believes that what he does will protect Nunnally. Sure, he's more than a little vengeance-crazed and he really hates Britannia, but he is still thinking of her. How do you save what's not exactly lost?

I'm also thinking about doing a Euphie icon to go along with my "lonely knight" and "lost prince" set. I'm just not sure what I want the text to be. Torn princess? Fated princess? Tragic princess? I don't know. Something with princess. Suggestions?

Sleep is overrated! XD;

How about Loony Princess. That goes along with the L theme. And it's also better than my idea of taking the shot of her guns blazing and put Psychotic Princess up.

You realize I have to kill you now?

Don't you always?

Bah. The only one who can save Lelouch is Lelouch, end of story. All his recent grief is his own doing, this path he's walking is the one he crafted himself. He *hated* the idea of being saved by Euphemia (he shut up for a second and accepted her idea after she said she'll throw away her name, too---essentially jumping down WITH him, not pulling him up), and threw away opportunities to make his goal easier when it doesn't go with his views, what lends credence to the idea that he subconsciously wants to be saved/can be saved by others?

For Euphie...does it have to be princess? If it doesn't, I'll throwback to Nordic mythology (since it seems to be a theme here, Ragnarok and all) and go with 'herald of sorrow'. Although I'm not sure who would be Loki here, heh. If it does have to be princess...I don't know, 'dying princess'? 'little princess'? (This would be sad only if you know the story, of course) 'lamenting princess'? heartsick?

Actually I really like herald of sorrow. I might go with that. Originally I was going for a royal theme, but this fits in nicely.

Will get back to rest after work.
