I am once more awake too early and unhappy about it. I also can't find Let Dai 7. But I'm not sure I bought Let Dai 7. I hate it when this happens.

So anyways, got some surprise not!smut last night, and it was good. IRC is crack yo.

Let Dai is one of these titles I've considered buying, but kept getting sidetracked by other shiny things >.> how recommendable is it?

If you can get past the awkward narration and the strange genesis of the main relationship, I recommend it a lot. I enjoy all the characters, and they're constantly getting development. Plus, the main antagonist has to be one of the most complex characters I've seen in a BL title since Banana Fish.

I think I'm sold, then. Not many people rate other manga as highly as Banana Fish, so I'll be looking forward to this title once I'm back in the US.

Incidentally, I need to read more of BF beyond vol 12.

Banana Fish and Angel Sanctuary are my manga gods. I cannot worship enough.

Let Dai also gets points for the main character not pissing me off too terribly often and having a spine. And yes you need to read more Banana Fish.

Angel Sanctuary is on my list to buy all at once, once I can spare the money. I read the whole thing years ago, and couldn't wait until Viz is done releasing it. Banana Fish is manga goodness. I can't believe I haven't spoiled myself for the ending yet, but you can never be too careful!

Let Dai is an AMAZING title that's almost more like poetry than anything else, but not so much so that it's ANNOYING, you know?

And yeah, I do compare it a lot with Banana Fish. It sits very pretty in my top 5 manga...
