Knight wasn't quite what I expected, but I'm hardly disappointed thanks to all the great Britannian sibling moments. And whatever the hell Lelouch did to poor Arthur near the end. Oh and Lelouch cross-dressing to break into Schneizel's headquarters and getting spotted by Suzaku. No real shonen ai but good gen all around.

Plus the story this icon represents, which was too much cuteness to describe.

Okay, two Knight-related posts today - one says they're somewhat underwhelmed and the other puts it up for sale - and I had to wonder. Why didn't it live up to your expectation? Is it not as BL as the cover suggests and is just gen with as few girls as possible?

Ok, after five tries I've determined I'm not in either of my RP journals...

I enjoyed Knight immensely, but I would have liked at least one story that was leaning closer to shonen ai if only to tease. I'm a fangirl at heart. Geass is the one series that I actually buy hardcore yaoi doujinshi for. Even though I collect gen as well. So yeah I felt slightly cheated that cover didn't deliver. But I would still recommend it to Geass fans because there's some really good stuff in there. And most of the art is great.

I thought the gag with C.C.'s pilot suit formerly designed for Suzaku was enough BL measurement? At least to me, since I'm pretty much accustomed to CLAMP-style subtleties where you have to work to see it o_o. I'm not a fan of hard yaoi unless it's SuzaLulu but even that I'm a bit shifty with. If said gag with the pilot suit is the most BL you can get in the book, then yes, it'll be a slight let-down.

Agreed on the overall quality of contributing artists despite the lack of BL. Kashi, Vivi and the rumour that KimuTaka is in it more than warrant a buy.

Well, there is a bit more on that front. By the way, the aforementioned gag is extremely short.

-Schneizel does have a moment with Lelouch when Lelouch cross-dresses to get into his place.
-The council boys sew a dress together and there's lots of Suzaku's usual gay smiles. Actually these are prevalent throughout as in the series.
-Rivalz is kinda gay in one of the stories.
-Schneizel is always gay and after Lelouch's ass.
-Lelouch sews an elaborate phoenix on Suzaku's clothes.
-There is one scene that appears to be an almost kiss, but I didn't like the art.
-I think Lelouch tries to geass Suzaku to make-out with him and Suzaku merely ends up punching him. Cute chibi art.
-The boys all have a bathing session. Same chibi art. I think Rivalz freaks out Suzaku by getting up in Lelouch's personal space.
-A different looking Schneizel? student tries to mack on Lelouch. He's joking I think, but it's still kinda creepy.
-I think Lelouch tries to geass Arthur for Suzaku. Not sure why. It backfires and there's cuteness.

Let's be blunt. I wanted a kiss or at the very least snuggles/hugs. I didn't get so I'm whiny on the front only. ^^;;

I have to say that's even more than I expected XD. The BL isn't so subtle, in any case. It's an *official* fan anthology - surely it warrants a buy. As it's an (somewhat) official merchandise, I don't reckon a kiss would be wise, sad as it is. I'm sure I'll throw a hissy fit when I see the contents of Queen so I'll refrain from doing so.

Of course, someone still has to die if my fave artists turn out doing chibi 4-komas!
