Aside from my waking up an hour late and driving to the Metro for the first time in my life, I think my meet-up went quite well. I even managed the commute back in the dark and the rain and the fog. Talk about your trial by fire. Good times.
Family rented Shrek 3, which was not as good as 2 and had sucktastic music. Then we realized Timberlake plays Artie, and I can never watch the movie again. Ever. I feel tainted that I watched something with him in it. The guy is like 26 and playing a high school brat barely gone through puberty. Have you no shame at all, Timberlake? Also I don't like ogre babies. The princesses amused me though.
It's going to kick my ass, going back to work tomorrow after my vacation.
