Wait wait why does Suzaku need to be redeemed now?
I forgot about Fukuyama's quote about Suzaku and Lelouch's mindsets until Celiss reminded me again this week. I always think it's worth analyzing how truly frightening boku-Suzaku can be.
There are two wounded people lying by the roadside. One is already dying while the other is likely to make it, provided that he receives medical aid soon. Lelouch will consider the distance to the hospital, his own strength, and decide to take only the person with the lighter injuries. That way one person will definitely live. [The ends (a life is saved) justify the means (having to abandon someone)]
Suzaku will forcefully drag the both of them to the hospital, even if it means both die in the process. When that happens he may be angry he didn't try harder, but ultimately still be consoled by the fact that "at least he did the right thing". [The means (trying to save both) justify the ends (both die)]
Obviously, I'm deliciously excited for S2 and have been doing nothing but speculating since yesterday.
In random news, I'm missed at YouTube for taking down the Ouran version of "The 12 Pains of Christmas" because all the other versions are terrible at choosing clips. F-.

I wonder if my brain can handle an attempt to come up with CG fic this month...
And I have this feeling that I'll need to write up a PART II to my ship manifesto after S2. It'll be epic and amazing and probably half kill me. :D;
