Katsucon was a mixed bag this year, as last year. It didn't help that Tom and I managed to get lost and arrived around 3 p.m. But I still bought a crapload of Geass doujin, The Complete artbook, KH II manga, Nightmare of Nunnally (I'm intrigued by Suzaku's look and general persona in NoN), adorable figures for posing (William and I had a good laugh at the Lelouch figure last night) and random fanart. I am not sure whether having one sole interest in fandom is good or bad for me. It means I spent less, but it also means I'm more bored. I need to get into another fandom.

As for meeting with people, it occurred. Drive-by style. It was ok. I did have fun chatting with crystaldawn for quite a bit. I think Tom was about ready to strangle me.

Camera fun meant that I missed any and all pictures INCLUDING Cornelia, Knight!Suzaku, Lelouch, Nunnally, C.C., Ashford!Kallen, Rebel!Kallen and Euphie. Let's not forget how I missed the great pose of Lelouch randomly bitching at Knight!Suzaku while she leaned against the balcony and looked thoroughly amused. I hate my camera.

Oh and I also saw Paprika whilst trying to track down _argustar and posse. At first, it looked like a waste of my time, but since Tom and I were stuck for a bit, we waited it out. It was actually quite good. We were both entertained.

We later returned to the apartment and played Lego Star Wars until we passed out around 4 a.m. Then Tom showed me Paper Mario and Wario Ware. The Wii has some loopy stuff.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun aside from the silly camera. I took a photojournalism class last year and was roaming around taking photos when I saw this one guy, bare-chested wearing an S&M outfit. I chased after him I'm so not a stalker >_> and needless to say, my camera conked out as soon as I was about to take the picture -_-;;;

Maybe when your camera works again (if it does) you can take a photo of the hoard of Geass stuff. Please? :D <3 As for new fandoms, maybe I can make a few suggestions?

I always remember the year I stalked rackhamrose and her red-haired, pony-tailed Seishirou throughout Katsucon because I didn't have a camera and I thought they looked so hot.

I have to find a place to put all my Geass stuff. XD I might scan a few of the doujin though. I'm sad because I bought a good bit, but there's only two or three I really like. I really need to stop being suckered in by pretty covers.
