It's hard for me to stay this cool but too many times I've been your fool

In good news, aunt has decided to let me chillax at her place for a while. This is good because during my 2+ hour commute today, amid DEAD STILL traffic, I started coming up with the perfect Geass to get people off the road. No seriously, there were deep thoughts that went into this. If that's not sad enough for you, there is a wooden chess set where I work and I randomly walk by it and place pieces in random places. The other day I swiped the white knight for most of the day as my good luck charm. Then a coworker I hadn't met yet noticed it and asked if it was from the board. When I begrudgingly admitted yes, he was all over finding someone to play. Whereupon I had to explain to him that I royally suck. And now he still wants to play Friday. Maybe at lunch.

I love how ironic my life is. I know it's silly but I have to whine a little bit about how work used to exhaust me. Now work is easy, but the commute exhausts me. At least I feel like my bosses respect me. They even listen to my idea. This is a strange and wonderful feeling, and I'm not as bored as I thought I would be. But neither am I overworked. Once I can cut down on this commuter time, we'll be good to go. I just love being able to talk to people and do my job again.

Oh, I also work in the Asian capital of the world. The Asian mecca that is right next to the entire pet care capital of the world. We are talking skin care, dental, veterinary, nails, obedience and boarding. But best of all, I can get quesadillas with guacamole! I love my quesadillas.

I'm supposed to be power-napping so I can do things around 9, but I hear there are Geass spoilers so I'm all a-frizzled.

Asian mecha

Too much anime? ;)

Long commutes suck, but eventually, you stop really noticing it. Brain turns off for two hours, and all of a sudden, you're there.

I drive a half hour to school everyday (not much in comparison to two hours though), but my brain always turns off after the first turn so it should get perpetually better. In any case, I'm glad to see your enjoying your job! Good for you! And don't worry about the chess match. There is always the possibility the other guy is a even worse player than you are :P

Mmm....quesadillas. I should pick one up on the way to school~
