I realized while writing a note that this seemed a little unfair why I truly dislike the authors explaining things in the guides. I stand by what I say. Either show or accept that people are going to have different ways of looking at it. This fight still seems quite mean.

I got a call about my ridiculous online purchases last night, and was too unconscious to respond to it this morning. So unconscious I botched my SN and had to wait a good 30 minutes for a live representative to speak with me and verify that some crazy Japanese person hadn't hijacked my card. No, that's only the crazy Americans.

My cat hops around like a bunny sometimes. It is amusing. Now, to spend today being productive or to chill and be productive tomorrow. Why are you so close, Christmas? Ugh, I have to clean again soon or Gabi will think I live in filth.

ETA: Score! My Thai doujin finally arrived... I bet they were in the mailbox I never check. orz

I agree with you that people should be able to interpret stuff as they fit. I don't believe that the highest authority on a work is the author, because no one has such control over their writing as to be able to carefully place each little clue. And without the ability to interpret and dissect choices and themes freely, than the search for meaning because useless.

Of course, I'm an English major that doesn't believe in truth. Whatcha gonna do.

Also, I linked to that item in my journal if you need quick access to the name again.
