In our latest saga of HOW DUMB IS MY ROOMMATE:
I received a call today while I was at work with my roommate freaking out about finding a dead bird or something. Feathers, she said. Now, my cats rarely leave my room so the chance of them finding a bird in it is slim to none. However, they do have this adorable little white ball that's attached to three large pheasant-like feathers, their favorite toy. So I assume this is what she was wailing about, pleading with me to come home and saying she was squeamish about cleaning it up. I return to find out that she did in fact clean it up.
SHE FLUSHED IT DOWN THE TOILET.
I'm not even asking how. I'm just infuriated. This tops any special thing she has EVER done. Plus, my cats are majorly bummed. :(

My mom used to flush vegetables down our toilet, so it doesn't really surprise me that someone else does that, too, but sheesh, that doesn't mean it's a good thing to do! And she did that thinking it was a bird? That would have been horrible if it was! And your poor cats, too. Do you think you could ask her to buy them a new toy?
