Dammit watching video game reviews make me want to play Secret of Evermore and Secret of Mana AKA the forgotten Squaresoft children again. Now I know everyone hated Evermore, but you got to play a dog who changed from a wolf to a greyhound to a poodle to a FLYING TOASTER, how can you hate that how? Though, yeah, Mana definitely had the better story and a vampire boyfriend. Oh SNES I miss you. Someone find me some emulations STAT!

To be fair, vampire boyfriend is not as charming as it sounds. Secret of Mana is one of the most depressing games I have ever played.

Secret of Mana is actually on Wii now too, if you happen to have one and are in to the whole legal thing. Though I'm happy I never got rid of my SNES.

I don't give money to the Wii since there is only one game I would ever want it for: Okami. Which I heard doesn't work as well as I hoped. I used to have SNES and owned both games though.

I'm a bit late with the comment, but if you want I could e-mail my Secret of Evermore ROM to you. I played the game on the SNES about ten years ago and I loved it. Sure Mana was much better, but Evermore is just underrated.
