Didn't think Destiny would cheer me up as much as it did. Between kick-ass Cagalli nailing Yuna in the face, Kira making another grand entrance with his T.M.Revolution music, Lacus and Asuran having a moment, Neo delivering Mwu's trademark line, and Asuran realizing his place as Justice's pilot, I loved every second of this episode. Say goodnight, Rey. Asuran's going to cut you off. Kira, just kick Shinn in the balls. It will do him some good. Asuran, please don't compare Lacus to Gil. It makes me sad. I also think I'm developing an extreme hatred of Lunamaria due to the lack of development being done to her character, aside from randomly tossing her with Shinn. Meyrin, I still have an iota of respect for because she could throw herself all over Asuran and she doesn't. She wins a gold star.

Uh, I think I missed an episode since Asuran wasn't up and walking when I last saw 40? Does that mean that something actually happened during the recap episode? Now I have to go find it.

Lacus is definitely one of my all-time favorite anime gals, which is significant since she's not my usual butch type. She's sweet and demure, but she can find the power when she needs to. I love her and Kira to bitsies. But I also enjoy any of her motivational speeches to Asuran. They're always so short and touching.

You're right. I don't think Asuran was comparing them in the same way. I think he was just trying to balance the two schools of thought. It just made me antsy to see Lacus and Gilbert in the same thought pattern.

And yes, Meyrin should tutor her sister before she gets choked.
