The world we knew won't come back

Better late than never I guess. Ah well, I got to finish Godchild. I will have to say that for the first time ever knowing the ending of the story did nothing to change its emotional impact. Angel Sanctuary will always be my favorite for the characters, but Godchild rules my soul for the storyline. I can't wait for Fairy Cube! I can be Kaori Yuki's bitch one more. Also, reading Godchild 7 proved to me how truly amazing Merryweather is. I love her to pieces. I'm a bit disappointed that Augusta was the Big Bad just because it was ten kinds of ridiculous. But I always knew there had to be something between Alexis and Cain. It is true that although the wicked Cain slew his brother, he never fell out of favor with God. God ensured his protecting by placing a curse on any who would dare harm him. Cassian and Jizabel ended up reminding me muchly of Rociel and Katan at the end there, but I love Cassian so I don't mind. And I was deliriously happy to see Riff return and defeat Riffael if only for a short while. I enjoy seeing Cain happy. Theirs truly is a beautiful relationship.

I'm amused Sci Fi is only about two weeks behind with Dr. Who. I may not have to dl anymore after all. If I can remember to watch.

That was the only thing that I disliked about the series, how Alexis could not be the irredeemable villain that he was without an ulterior force being behind it. I have to admit that Augusta as the demonic vixen is still grating on my nerves, but it didn't ruin the experience of reading Godchild to me. There are so many other elements that make up for that.

Fairy Cube is already out!
