HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RACHEL! *throws Sasuke at you* I will provide further description of clothing and state of mind later tonight. My poor brain is devoted to one purpose for the moment.

I will try to be on tonight, as it looks as though I will be finishing HBP by nightfall. On Chp. 23 at the moment. I normally don't read books this fast but since I'm both deathly afraid of spoilers (even ran away from a friend when we were having a readying party of sorts) and I'm so friggin' addicted to the net, I have to compromise by finishing HBP as soon as humanely possible. I don't think I've ever attempted this fast a reading in my life. I'm amazed I still take time to go back and forth through chapters and snag the earlier books for things mentioned, to get the usual reading experience. Somehow, this entire exercise makes me furious with the net for reducing me to this position. I would prefer to read the book over the week, but I am not so naive to fool myself that not a single soul on my f-list won't accidentally spill something, while pretending they are being covert. Being covert and spoilers just don't mix.

I did it! I got through the entire book spoiler-free. No skipping. No cheating. Nothing but pure undisturbed reading surprises. It really is so much better that way. The experience is ten times the normal one when you know what's going to happen. All you people who flipped to the end or hunted down spoilers are really missing out. I pity you. What a rush. I haven't felt this feeling in a long time. It's like watching my anime. I've finally found literature that equates with the emotional rollercoaster brought on by anime. For that I tip my hat to Rowling. And...that's all I will say on the subject for now.
