I almost feel bad for Yuugi there. But not as bad as I feel for missing the first episode today. I wanted to see Sieg have at Haga and Ryuuzaki. What sort of split is 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. anyway? I should have set an alarm. Jou and Sieg's dubbed banter is a watered-down version of what he has with Kaiba. They're too obsessed with fashion. I do love how whenever Anzu says she needs female friends, she turns to Leon. Grand Prix has some stupid duel locations. On a carousel? Damn, Sieg even had Kaiba in his sights when they were young. Dub, sometimes your lines can be spooky. "How about we light things up, Herr Kaiba?" Yami is so bored, which is why he keeps popping up for one-liners. Um, Sieg, was that a growl or a purr? Rise of the Valkyries is still one of the sexiest cards in Yugioh.

I didn't know Adult Swim acquired the Escaflowne movie. I wish they would have gotten the series, not the horribly mangled dub but the real thing. I miss Escaflowne. Van was like a cooler winged Kamui and Hitomi was one of the few main girls I approved of in anime.

My brother and father amused me last night. Dad comes into my room at about 2 a.m., bitching about just catching a commercial for a gay chatline on the WB. When I walk away, he shares his misery with the cat. Seeing as my cats as both hardcore lesbians, I doubt he found a sympathetic ear. I shall feel bad for the male cat I plan on bringing into this house. My brother entertained me when we were watching Reunion. Every time it seemed someone was about to have sex, he would shout out "It's go time!" After that, I kept imagining Naruto running up to Sasuke out of the blue and pouncing on him with that phrase. And Sasuke would just give him this look. You can decide how things go after that.

Ok, this is driving me mad. Someone on my friends list made a post with a bunch of screencaps from some episode of Full Metal Panic, featuring the amusing "L on a bicycle" scene in my icon. I can't remember who made it and was interested in getting it back so I could get the episode number, among other things.
