A question of the heart
Aug. 10th, 2007 08:25 pmMy house has absolutely no circulation so my cold has not improved. It turned into a head cold midday, but thankfully with about 10 pills that has since gone down. Most of the day, that wasn't spent lying in bed, was spent affixing my Geass cells to my wall so that now a good sixth of it is Geass. I also finally got around to scanning the parts of "Knight" that I really wanted to share. There's a few others I'm debating on. I went to work long enough to pick up some contacts so I can make calls tomorrow or whenever. I still have to work tomorrow, but my coworker said she'll hang with me so that should be fun. If I'm not still dead-sick.
I'm still fairly depressed but doing a better job of repressing it, I think. Though I did nearly lose it around a few of my older coworkers today. I'll try not to bitch about this anymore in this journal.
Instead I'll just laugh at the NewType Romance Special of Rivalz and Lelouch in the shower after the kitty cosplay episode. Lelouch is such an oblivious freak half the time, and Rivalz is ever so gay.
This reminds me. I was going through my official art the other day and came to a stunning conclusion. For a canon pairing, even if only for a handful of episodes, Suzaku and Euphie never got ONE official art together. That depresses me. I mean, even Kallen got an official art with Suzaku. I know Lelouch is the pimp, and he gets all the girls and Suzaku to boot, but just one sign of Suzaku's questionable heterosexuality would be nice. I think Graham is right. Suzaku really is the gay one. Sad really since Lelouch is obviously more attached to him than Suzaku is to Lelouch. I think it's really a case of fake!Suzaku and occasionally true!Suzaku loving everyone equally so no one person is more important than the other. To be fair, true!Suzaku is more selfish than fake!Suzaku. Whereas Lelouch, infinitely the more selfish one than either Suzaku persona, is only willing to devote his concern/heart/whatever to certain people. He'll go out of his way for others, yes, but he will pull out all the stops when it comes to his special people. Oh Lelouch, why do you even pretend that you can give all that up?
