WR Fanart Explosion
Mar. 12th, 2004 11:28 amPoo. Nobody on the WR LJ got my Blue joke. Guess they've all forgotten the good ole days when we used to hypothesize about Blue being a wolf and being another hot bishie. I'm glad it didn't go down that way. Blue is a killer female and the strong females really help the dynamic and characterization in this series. Course, Jagara can take a long walk off a short bridge for all I care. Taking Darcia with her, hopefully. -_-
I have done it! My master plan to use the WR Fanring to accumulate ALL of the best (or my preference in style, pairing, chara) Japanese fanarts on the net is finished. I should probably burn the whole mess to disk since it's gotta lay on hurting on my poor, evil computer. But some of them are so pretty. Like the one with Toboe decked out in the trappings of his pack (Hige's collar, Kiba's jacket, Tsume's glasses). Or the wolf versions huggling a human packmate. And I love the few Blue gems I found around the place and the occassional Cher or Hubb. Didn't like lots of the styles they got drawn in so I didn't take more than 3 of those.
Another awesome thing about the Japanese pages is their love to translate best parts of episodes into drawings. I loved those. *worships all the Cheza hugging Kiba pics* I swear I must have an art of every pairing possible by now (Tsume/Toboe, Tsume/Kiba, Kiba/Toboe, Hige/Toboe, Hige/Blue, Kiba/Hige, Tsume/Hige, Kiba/Cheza, Blue/Toboe, Cher/Hubb, Darcia/Kiba, Darcia/Jagara, and Quent/Blue).
I wish I could share some but I respect the Japanese fanartist's decision to decide who can post their work. But if anyone wants any, I can probably upload for a moment or two. ^^
Oh, I burnt myself on the waffle batter at work and gave my hands blisters in many places from holding the extra-heavy ladle. It's sad to say that the waffle section has injured me more than any of the others so far.
Aww, the Toboe-looking pup on my calendar for today is squeezable.
