But mugetsu_, you should probably be aware that the ENTIRE chunk of newbies at the Rakuen WR forum are using your icons as their personal avatars. Definitely no credit is being had and this post on the Fanart section involved a link to your ENTIRE list of WR icons, uploaded to a new server of course. The poster admitted to not even having searched the entire net but stumbling across a site with a bunch of icons and snagging them. Maybe you should chatise these errant whelps. I don't own an account on the forum or I would be glad to do it for you. Those young pups piss me off a lot with how disrespectful they are in general.

Too many WR thoughts

While trying to write WR fic last night, I came upon a realization. People often bash writers for using wolf form/human form (I'm guilty of bashing myself). They especially bash NewType for using those terms. But honestly, there's nothing wrong with saying wolf form/human form. Human illusion/facade sounds pretty lame so I can understand those who don't want to use those words. You can still get around the problem by using neither terminology and just describing the shift in perception accurately enough. I know my trick to this when I write my hybrids in Heritage is to use "the wolf" or "the boy/man/woman". So instead of reading "He could finally see his wolf form," we get "He could finally see the wolf."

Also, people should be nicer to NewType, it clearly explains the wolves don't transform when it talks about Tsume's claws/knife, explaining that the knife isn't really there so it doesn't have to be sheathed. Yes, they use "true form" when talking about the wolves but it's not so bad. As for the age question that has always plagued me, the director apparently saw Kiba and Tsume appearing as 17-yr-old humans, with Hige being a bit younger (I'll go for 16) and Toboe being a lot younger (13-14). He added that because they are wolves, they are probably only a few months apart and are probably 1-2 years old. Damn, I wish I could have bought that August issues. The designs for all the characters and the tidbits of information it provided were mesmerizing. I think it even mentioned Cheza being sightless. I like the little hints it gives about Hige's collar too. ^^

Further beating this topic into the ground, I got the WR 2 DVD today. I like how the director said that he didn't have a specific time/place for WR because he felt that establishing one would limit the imagination. I think that's the mentality I will be using in my WR fanfic. Still not sure what to do about other wolves yet, as to whether or not they are virtually wiped out like in canon-WR. Hubb's seiyuu is a bit morbid, suggesting that Cher and Hubb shouldn't get back together until the final scene of the final episode. Geez, man. -_- It was also cute seeing the pack seiyuu posing together and little Toboe's seiyuu messing up, obviously. I just like watching Kiba's seiyuu doing the hurting scenes since he has to adjust his voice to sound like it's in pain. Amazing. I want to be a voice actor. Also about the actual DVD, like everyone Cheza also does an episode preview and it is hella creepy! It's like listening to the Owl on crack.

Also bought manga today. Tokyo Babylon 3 and Yami no Matsuei 1. I'm saving them for when I'm at the bus stop at school because that's when I'm using bored. Also have to re-read Angel Sanctuary 2. Wanted to get Gravitation 3 DVD, which I saw at Pandora's Cube but they were charging $30. Best Buy may not have it yet but when they do, it will be $10 cheaper so I can wait. Also wanted to get Crescent Moon 3, Juvenile Orion 4, and Prince of Tennis 3, but monetary situation tells me to only buy two at a time. I will definitely be getting Juvenile Orion since I'm really getting into that. But the other two may have to wait. They just aren't that good compared to my other stuff. I have too many issues with Crescent Moon, mostly that it's boring aside from the fun characters.

In writing news, I want to give Nicky and Luce a kitty or two for the short story. Maybe I can bring back PomPom (although his story is totally AU now) and I've always loved Eden (Nick and Christian's cat in another unposted AU).

WTF? Crispin Freeman also voiced Rociel? Damn, he sounds so GAY and a little less talented. But the dub is BAD, man, BAD. I think he's the best out of the lot. Too bad I'm too lazy to pay attention to subtitles.

*sigh* They should have made more Angel Sanctuary anime.

EDIT: Kaiba icon finally selected. Aside from the anime version, Priest Seto is HOT beyond comprehension. Better chase Mokuba out of the room for a bit because me and Kaiba, we need our private time. XD
