(no subject)

Unlike half of my f-list, who were shitting themselves, during the Great LJ-Blackout of 05, Nayami was reasonably content. She had Furuba, which she watched with her little brother and enjoyed oh so much, except for the eps with Yuki's stupid fanclub. After watching, I've come to some conclusions:

1. They really need to give Kyou more time in the series, rather than just shoving him into the last three eps and making him the highlight that way.
2. Ritsu and his mother are scary and really shouldn't get whole episodes to themselves, although Ritsu is somewhat more tolerable and sweet when he's talking to Tohru.
3. I DO NOT WANT TOHRU AND YUKI TO HOOK UP! If you're wondering, I'm a slight Kyou/Tohru fangirl since I think he needs her more. Personally I'd rather have my Yuki/Kyou/Tohru threesome but if I had to limit my scope, the Kyou option is ok too.
4. So far it looks like Shigure is the only Zodiac (no, I don't remember the Japanese name, I'm not hardcore enough) in Furuba without angst, although I know he has a few *secrets*.
5. Akito...Why must you fuck with my head, Furuba anime?
6. Hatsuharu needs more episodes so I can understand what's up with him, although I have convinced myself that his feeling for Yuki are complicated, thanks to Rin.
7. Kagura is the CUTEST of all the Zodiac. She bites people.
8. Hiro and Kyou should get along. They're both punk-asses.
9. I love Tohru but sometimes she really pisses me off because her life sucks and I want her to *show* it sometimes. I feel so angry and bad for her with the way she purposely glosses everything over just to be happy for everyone else. I guess this is the thing that separates her from the type of character I would typically hate in a shoujo anime.
10. I NEED THE MANGA. ALL OF IT. I will buy it as it comes out too but if anyone knows where I can find recent stuff...*puppy eyes*

Also saw The Village, which was really good and I enjoyed it. As quebelly explained, it shows how Bush won the election. XD
