Today's quote and LJ entry title comes from an old Buddhist proverb that my writing professor graced us with today. It made me think of an awesome Yugioh idea that I'll never write, toying with the idea that Yugi loses the Ceremonial Duel and tossing in lots of yummilicous Yami/Kaiba for all. ^^ Why have Yugi lose? Because I want to have both Yami and Kaiba familiar with the AE arc but I don't want Yami to leave. ;_; I'll probably find a way to send him back to the Spirit World...eventually. That and giving Yami his own body is LAME. But yeah, quote totally applies to Kaiba and his tendency to hide his past. Wouldn't it be fun to let the rivals verbally and emotionally dissect each other? I think so.
Why does Funimation have two separate subtitle tracks for FMA DVDs? Is it just to make me look dumb when I bitch to the community about inconsistencies and dubtitles? I believe it is. But in retrospect, Funi does seem to have done an awesome job with the subbing here. So thumbs up to them.
Watched Saturday's FMA ep finally. Kimbly is still the smex and moreso with his English VA. *loves* Al's VA, Aaron, finally proved he could do emotion and Vic's rendition of Edward's "AL!" was spot on. A great episode for all the VAs and the translators. No complaints here. I think it effected memore in the dub than it did in the Japanese. Speaking of FMA, I'm contemplating making my next cosplay Greed. However, if I do go through with this ridiculous plan, I'm going hardcore this time. No more tactical shopping for me. We're talking alteration and design. And maybe a cute marker tattoo reading "Greed *heart* Kimbly." See if I can't wrangle up that awesome male Envy to spar with.
On the subject of cosplay, I have a few of my favorite victims from Katsu. Yes, I know everyone is SO critical about cosplayers and how they aren't PERFECT (I'm not going to go into how much this pisses me off again but some people need to really learn to chill. This is fun, you know. We're not all expected to be experts on our first try. Instead of bitching, why not offer tips?). *calms down* For these reasons, I may be holding off on displaying my own pictures as I was in an evil mood that day and my cosplay photos are definitely not in their best form.

-By the way, Saffire was minus her hair here but she did have it later and she looked great so nobody better mock her for not being accurate. =P
Is Yuki supposed to hold his wrist like that? XD
You can't see it here but I chose this Sasuke for his hair. It was perfect and styled backward just like the character. I knew I should have asked him to pose at an angle.
-Maybe I'll try to lighten this one up later and see if I can't see more of the hair.

Maybe you could also toss in Ishida. ^^;;
I just really love his hair and he had the attitude down flat.
Tom says he will be getting his scanner this week so I can scan me some lovely doujinshi.

The Risks in Personal Accounts: Explaining Bush's proposal and the pros/cons therein.
The State of Iraq: A chart showing the gradual changes in Iraq by the numbers. Fair and willing to show the achievements of the war as well as the problems.
Iraq: Then and Now: Is the war improving national security or giving the terrorists new motivation and participants?
