In unrelated news, 4Kids ditched 3/4 of Varon's storyline. Nice, guys. Real nice. Now Duo-wannabe is merely a prison punk.

First things first, Katsucon did not think through either arrangement or organization this year and it got really annoying and congested at times. Probably not one of my favorite events. But Katsu is always hit or miss with me so I'm used to it.

Pictures to be added later.

Cosplay )

Highlights:
1. Getting picture with Johnny Young Bosch and watching him act like a total freak during his panel. His smiles when he shouts out his "Love and Peace!" are kyute and zany.
2. Getting recognized by one person. Yay.
3. The awesome Space Channel Alchemist cosplay skit complete with flashy, sparkly coat-wearing, pink-haired Edward Elric and his dance-off with Roy Mustang. Yes, it had the "Up up left left shoot shoot shoot." XD Also had dance-off between Scar and Ed. Mustang's back-up dancers were the State while Ed had Izumi and Winry.
-The cast
-The Space Channel Alchemist, himself
4. The hot male Sasuke cosplayer.
5. The awesome Sanji cosplayer.
6. Hanging with the Bosch fangirls. We spent most of the time talking about Power Rangers.
7. Finding a replacement Tezuka pin and finding some gorgeous doujinshi (Yugioh, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Gundam Wing). I was sane, only got 4.
8. Harassing Funimation and talking bishonen anime with the representative.
9. The really original-styled Gravitation fanart, which I ran out of money before I could buy. (Only brought 200 total).
10. The Naruto cosplayers dancing to "Go Ninja Go" from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sasuke and Naruto could DANCE.
11. X AMV parody to trailer for Ocean's 11, complete with line of Sorata asking Subaru if he's suicidal, Aoki being British, and Arashi being Julia Roberts

Minuses:
1. Barely any room for picture taking so didn't take that much.
2. It was cold so I was freezing in my outfit and I still wish I had more time to work on my pants.
3. Only saw TWO Yugioh cosplayers, a Bakura and a Yugi, both of which I missed the chance to photograph.
4. The long-ass cosplay line that lacked any organization for a good hour and actually managed to chase Tom and I away from for a bit.
5. Forgetting to check my doujinshi for amount count before buying. Too many script pages.
6. Security telling us our po-ass guns were too realistic. ;_; So no action photos at all.
7. Horrible audio during cosplay so I could hardly hear any skits.
8. Long-ass Dealer's Room line that rarely shortened.
9. Putting the con in two non-connected hotels, forcing me to walk in the freezing cold.
10. Getting lost on the way to the con AGAIN.
11. Oh and no ASURAN/CAGALLI anywhere!!!! ARGH!!! The one time I support het and I can find no merchandise.

Swag. )

Argh, I was so tired last night, I barely watched FMA and it was a good episode. Ed and Al sounded awesome.
