Naruto kicks!
May. 5th, 2005 11:30 amNaruto 133...Uh, THE FIGHT FUCKING KICKS ASS. theanimationtakesalottogetusedtoandremindsmeofdigimonmovies. But thing's are looking up for 134. And they actually managed to make Curse Level 2 look non-wretched. *gives half eaten cookie with mold on it* But yeah, the animation is a risky thing with me. It's too different from Naruto and almost feels like I'm watching a whole nother show. I predict it's going to take several rewatchings to push that oddness away.
EDIT: I acknowledge this probably is more rendered animation than I'm willing to admit. Yes, probably movie styled and it does help the flow. IMMENSELY. The fight scenes miss not a beat or more fittingly a punch. But it's still got that distancing effect. I'm too used to old style. Sorry, lil' miss shallow is working on getting over herself. The second re-watch opened her eyes somewhat.
Screencaps but they really don't do justice to how the style makes fights AMAZING and I don't use the word lightly. These are probably the BEST in Naruto so far. But there's a trade-off of facial close-ups. Can't win 'em all.
