"But we are dueling, you insensible twit"
May. 15th, 2005 11:26 amMy my Dartz, your dialogue couldn't be lamer, could it? That said, god I love these episodes. *huggles the Yami/Kaibaness of it all* "You better hope nothing happens to me 'cause you can't do this alone." Love when the dub outslashes the original in its attempts to assify Kaiba. Gotta remember to write up my analysis of why Dartz is not your typical "destroy the world" bad guy some time this weekend and post to the Yugioh community. We have some decent thinkers there. Essentially, Dartz believes he's the savior.
I think final went splendid even though I only had three hours of sleep. The dinner party that ate most of last night was worth it despite our fellowship's two-hour delay, getting lost in Montgomery County, dorktastic conversations about Choose Your Own Adventure books, imagining ourselves as D&D characters, and referencing every geek favorite known to man. We got to eat some great food: mead, salmon, fried chicken, salad, pasta, and about three different kinds of pastries/cakes. Also complained a lot about Hitchhiker's, which I finally saw today and thorougly enjoyed, although it confused the daylights out of me by the end. It made me want to at least read the first book. And hey, I finally get the Babblefish reference. I want a babblefish.
( This continues, wavers in and out between Tolkien, fandom, and existentialism. It's called SLEEEEEP but no, Samurai Champloo. Cry! )
