(no subject)

Not sure why but suddenly on writing kick. Thought out huge scene for Psychosis today. Then I lost my notes from a few weeks ago and went into total panic attack.

Also been thinking about "Heritage." Aside from maybe giving that story a new title since Heritage is starting to lose its orignal meaning, I'm also working on weeding out the whole Hispanic thing I was going for. Not because I can't do it, but more because I don't see why. I think it just makes it a certain genre and that's stupid. That means taking it out of this world more or less. Have to decide on new setting. Also, I like the idea of giving all my special werewolves Greek/Roman names since they are genetically engineered or the offspring of genetically engineered creatures. That said, Raoul has got to go. I'm thinking about sticking with some variation of his birth name, Lysander. It works well with the other names: Casandra, Achilles and Romulus (Rom being his second name; I think his birth name was also Achilles).

To help with question, Raoul's personality can be described as lazy but alert. He prefers to just watch things, but will join in if something is appealing enough. He's also laid back and it takes a lot to provoke a reaction from him. That said, he loves to tease and has little to no tact in situations, making him as blunt as they come. He enjoys fighting because too much of his life is spent playing by the rules, but his victories usually come more of luck/genetics than actual skill. Contrary to everything else, Raoul has a voracious appetite for learning and adores music.

Oh, Seto, you heathen coveter you

All right! I live for religious rants, courtesy of a file found on playthedamncard. Basically, they tell me Yugioh is "a game obsessed with death," "an unfruitful work of the devil" and all about "coveting." It's glorious!

Speaking of Yugioh, Set is so in love with his pharaoh. I think the dub emphasizes this more than the subtitled version, with Set constantly going on about protecting the pharaoh, finding the pharaoh, believe the pharaoh is alive and aghast at the notion of taking the pharaoh's place. Yeah, there was also cute puzzleshipping. I disapprove in general, but it is a touching scene so it gets clemency. Ra flooring Yami Bakura and Diabound was another highlight.

Train's fangirl in Black Cat frightens me. Maybe it's her infatuation with phallic-shaped popsicles, especially ones that wiggle about in unsettling ways. I still like her though. Her "oh, i'm a poor damsel in distress" routine was beautiful. It's also strange for me to see Train reminding people he's Black Cat since he acts so different now. I want Creed back. *sniffles*

I didn't realize ParaKiss only has five episodes to go. I tend to get annoyed with the animes that have the female ditch school/previous life in pursuit of some unrealistic dream or worse, love (I'm looking at you, Miaka!) I'm a little forgiving for ParaKiss since Yukari has some chance of success in her modeling world, but I'm still all "tsk tsk" about the whole thing. Still melting over the George.

I am working on a Sai essay for this week. Basically why I think Kishimoto likes to pretend he's Sasuke. As a matter of fact, until I receive actual backstory for Sai, I am going to be the odd-gal-out and say there's decent evidence supporting Sai's being Sasuke. Discrepancies also exist, but I will cover this in the essay. I want to post it to the pretty-much defunct debattebayo, but I'll probably also run it by chuunin.

Will I make productive use of my night this time? We'll see.
