Second season? Maybe not.
Mar. 5th, 2007 09:50 amI was led to believe by rumors a while back that Geass would be two seasons. While I would still love for this to be the case because I will miss my Lulu something fearsome, I'm no longer sure it it is legit. The plot has been moving considerably quicker lately and appears to be building to a finale. It pisses me off because we wasted a perfectly good episode on a recap early on, not 17.5; I like 17.5. I think it was 8.5. I reviewed the rumor post today and noticed that most of what it said would happen has occurred. I hope this holds true for Schneizel because Lulu needs someone to fight, and the guy seems like a big teddy bear to me. But the rumor post also constantly referred to a second and third part. I could see the second part as being the stuff after Mao since it is true the story has been hauling ass since then. But what would the third part be? The final three episodes? I think the universally accept amount of episodes for this series as of now is 25, meaning Geass has six episodes to reach a conclusion and solve its many mysteries: C.C., who killed Marianne, what the hell is up with Suzaku's Coordinator skills, will Lelouch lose to Geass and what will happen to the Rebellion. If they can do it properly, more power to them, but I'm extremely wary right about now. Don't disappoint me, Sunrise.
