I, for some part, sympathize with the outrage over the Avatar casting. But on the other hand, such venom has better use for issues of actual importance in our society that it's so much harder to do anything about. Sure, write letters of protest and be productive in telling the directors what what you think of their choices direct. But bitching on the Net... not going to accomplish much. Direct your anger where it belongs. At the ones behind this.

Oooh the moon is so big and bright tonight, I just want to go outside and howl at it. Yes, you heard me. Howl.

Also, I am pitching this here before I take it comm-wide. I am thinking about starting a CG fic review community. But as I fail at reading things out of my spectrum, I am looking for two helpers. One to handle the gen/het that I miss and another to handle the non-SuzaLulu yaoi and general smut that I miss. Or any combination thereof. I just want to make sure I'm diversified dangit. Let me know if anyone on my F-list is interested. My one rule, however, is that you can't be an avid CG writer. I want this collective of reviewers to be more reader-style. Oh yeah, we're also taking maybe one review per week.
