God, I feel like my head is going to explode. Sorry I ditched everyone last night when I went to find pills. At least I lasted long enough to see the Canadians claim their ice dancing medal. They deserved it since everyone else just weirded me out. Ice skating + country music = Goodbye brain. My rule of thumb is "no hoedowns on the ice." Also, I can't believe Canada lost in hockey? My world view has essentially been uprooted.

I can't wait to see Kim Yu-Na skate tomorrow. She is going to kick everyone's ass. I've seen her skate to James Bond music, and it is amazing. I've also seen our USA team and snoooooooooooooooore. Go Yu-Na!

I picked up Hunger Games while I was out with Dana and also borrowed the Project Runway season with Christian. I look forward to having that be my background noise throughout the week. We also watched "Moon," which is excellent, and Time Traveler's Wife, which bored us out of our skulls.

Then there was Zombieland. ( I did not like Zombieland primarily for the way it completely forgot the characterization of its female characters in the final half. )

I'm with the NYT. News is news so no spoiler warnings here. I'm mad pissed that Weir got cheated out of his medal when he was the only one of the group, excluding Plushie and Evan to NOT FALL ON HIS ASS. I don't care how subjective the scoring it. If you fall on your ass, you don't medal. WTF. That said, oh my god I'm so happy for Evan. He truly earned it. I'm a bit disappointed in Plushenko since I did like the Lestat-wannabe, but he was so damn sure that all he had to do was nail his quad and Evan would lose because he chose not to do one. Plushie lost because he got arrogant, pure and simple. I also want to capture both the young Japanese skater (not Daisuke) and Oda and put them in my pocket so cute.

But yeah, YOU WERE ROBBED JOHNNY. You skated your heart out and everyone knows it.

I am skipping grocery shopping to read more PJO because canned soup is totally worth more Thalia being awesome.

I missed 15 minutes of Lost last night due to watching ice skating, and it was actually really good! High school AU FTW! By the way, I hope the Russian supervillain skater does take the gold since he is so badass, but I hope "I AM MADE OF FAB" Weir takes a medal of some kind. Sadly, in order for that happen, the top guys have to slip up in their free skate. Still, ice skating yeah!
