fangirl_crack with opinions of the Destiny eps I've watched thus far. Also watched the SAD eps of FMA with Tom. He's such a binge. 18 episodes on Sat and 10 today. Poor thing's already seen the end so now he can put things together. I was just happy to see my precious Greed again. I don't care what anyone says. Greed is an individual with skills and styles while Envy is a whiny transvestite on crack. Take that, Envy!
Let's compare. Did Envy have a whole group of Chimera loyal to him and willing to die for him? I think not. Did Envy have pimpin' skills and lady friends? I think not. Then again, Envy's probably not into the ladies since he obviously wants to jump Edward's bones. Does Envy have the pimpin-shades? Again, nope. Envy only wins because he's a SCARY MAN. I would be scared of the boy. Greed had the good sense to keep out of that fight because Greed is SMART. Everything he does, he knows what he's doing. Envy is impulsive. Did Envy do anything that was worthy of compassion or empathy? Not once in his friggin'life. And don't bring up the father issues because I DON'T CARE. Also, Greed is a sexy, well-built playboy. Envy is a scrawny, gangly psycho. You're not stacking those points, Envy my lad. Did Envy have an uber-hot associate who could blow people up? 'Fraid not, Kimbly hung with Greed until my sweet bloodthirsty Crimson Alchemist decided to be a fuck. But that's spoilerish so I'll stop that train of thought. And the most damanging evidence of all against Envy is that he's a friggin' lackey, a lapdog. He does what he's told. Greed sneers at any sort of order. It's his way or the highway. Even Tom agrees that Greed totally trumps Envy and might even be the BEST of the Sins, as far as developed and engaging characteristics.
I need to make Greed icons.
In other ranting news, what's the deal with Yami/Yugi. Please someone tell me how that can be remotely interesting? It's fluff. Where's the challenge? Where's the conflict? SNORE. At least with the other yami/omote combinations, there's the yami who causes issues and keeps things interesting. Worst of all when Atem and Yugi are together. MEGA-SNORE.
