I can't believe this. My Shakespeare professor is leaving us for two weeks for India. Most would be like 'yay no class' or 'yay we get to watch movies in class', but I'm pissed. I took this course so someone could help me understand Shakespeare. By the time the prof gets back, he wants us done both King Lear and Twelfth Night. I'm worried we wouldn't have any time to discuss Lear and I'm really confused. The play is really about a bunch of people who freak out and overreact over the stupidest things and death is usually the result. I'm going to have to snag me some Cliff's Notes and I hate doing that. The prof's a great lecturer and I lover how he reads the plays but this is ridiculous. Worse, I bet he knew he was leaving all along and just now decided to tell us. Thanks a lot.
Editorial class let us talk about religion in politics today. Nayami was a happy puppers and snapped through comments in zeal. It was good stress relief for having to put up with that BASTARD and his precious morals last night. I really like to know where he comes up with his statistics sometimes. Clear Skies, my ass! The environmental policy is shit and he could care less. And his bull about the education system and No Child Left Behind. I haven't seen one ounce of proof that shows the program does anything. It's just a waste of good intentions and cash. Maybe if they would quit hacking away at educational funding, we wouldn't have this issue. But no, that would mean other more important things would have to be cut. Then, we have my personal favorite, "personal accounts" AKA 'I'm going to throw my money into a bastardized son of the Stock Exchange and hope my nest egg stays secure.' How is this a good thing? It's like risk to the umpteenth power. The only thing decent that I heard all night was consideration that something might have to be done about a certain little tax cut. Oooh, you get a cookie, Mr. Man. Anyway, class asked if we thought a govermental official should be allowed to say that God guides all his/her decisions. HELL NO! I'm sure God told you to burn down trees because they cause forest fires. -_-
Um, thanks to
crowphoenix and
aquariankiss for their ideas on Psychosis Redux Chp1. Once I finally get a revised chapter done, I will probably be throwing it onto a special section of the Psychosis page, which I will dub Psychosis Redux since the name's catchy.
