Memoirs of the Angst-Bitch

Everyone's freaking out about the new Tsubasa chapter, and I know I should be, but since I'm not really attached to any of the actual characters, it's just sort of a "Whoa there, Clamp!" event to me and not something to completely spaz out about, as I did when meanie hurt Kamui.

Oh yay, new Akatsuki. Hear me clap for joy. I am interested in one new character though. Riki? I might like her. She seems slightly more than eye-candy. And Sai, you big goof, can you not be a dork for even two seconds. Hmm, Ino doesn't seem to have changed much at all. I still love Shikamaru. More on this train of thought when I get off work, which I'm already late for.

My cracked brain has now decided that the absence of an AU gang warfare scenario in X is damn near sinful and demands someone write it right now. I don't even care if it's good. I mean, Tsubasa gives them matching weapons and clothes, motor bikes, a precious substance to fight over (they call it water but we know better), territorial disputes and total gangsta mentality. Toss in some retarded-ass names like K-Ro and Fiddy we're ready to roll. Course, Yuuto doesn't get to fight, being the resident pimp and all. So yeah, like Sorata and Arashi are Fiddy's main dogs and K-Ro's got Satsuki and Kusanagi watching his back. Then you got the newbies who just joined the gang but are jonesing for some action like Kazuki and Yuzuriha. And everyone else gets tossed in there somewheres because I'm too lazy to think that far. *so desires altering the Kamui image from her icon so that he has bling because it would be too easy (wait! he already does. I forgot that Seishirou and him ripped the same pawn shop)* I forgot what else I was going to say, which is probably for the best since this is already scaring me.

You may now retain to your sane lives. Pray I don't actually attempt to do something further with this and do not ask where it came from.

Need translations of Tsubasa 111 so I know whether or not Kamui's truly angsting or just sitting pretty. It better not be the former. I'm already irked with Kishimoto for cheating me out of Sasuke this week. But the Sai stuff was fun.

Also Rache mentioned Sora/Riku being like Naruto/Sasuke. This amused me to no end because of all the similarites, although Riku is considerably more stable than Sasuke and I don't want Sasuke to be embacing his darkness anytime soon since he'll be Oro's puppet. But it would be nice if Sasuke had a similar path to redemption or a more painful one whichever.

Why didn't anyone tell me how good Chain of Memories was? I found the whole set of cutscenes for the game on YouTube (complete with added music from the KH2 OST) and boned up on the entire storyline. I think it rivals KH2 on the story level, especially Riku's version and everything with the Organization. I also had fun playing spot the allusion to KH2 plot and smiled at the quirkiness of the ending. It explains so much about the opening of KH2 as well as massive plot lines in the game. Why the hell wasn't it released on PS2? You practically *need* it to really get half of KH2. I want to clear files of my hard drive so I can dl all the cutscenes from all the games and compile a massive KH media set.

Still seeking the instrumental version of Hikari.

Again, I'm supposed to be asleep so I can drive down early and see Tom tomorrow. But then one of my stalkees posted a small reminder that Tsubasa 110 be up. All I can say is that while Clamp has not and will never win me back to the Darkside, I am pleased with them for the moment. FUUMA VS. KAMUI!!! The tension returns and hotness abounds. Oh and something that should make Ammie quite happy. ^_~

I go back to pout over not being a lion anymore.
