Jul. 19th, 2008 03:38 pmI was going to post about going to see Batman. But that's old hat, and I can just tell people who care. I'm not really in the mood for it actually. My fucking car alarm is broken, I have no food and refuse to go out to eat until I shop tomorrow because someone has an entire fridge of EXPIRED MILK and I was stupid enough to buy only milk products and stupid expected monthly problems are making me feel ill off and on.
But that's ok. Because I had a moment of inspiration today. Two small birds got trapped in my house. I don't know really. I'm completely lost. They must have been here for at least two days since I heard continuous loud chirping but never realized anything was inside until I heard fluttering when I came home today. Now this means that for two whole days my perfectly clawed and vicious cats didn't go after these birds. It would have destroyed me to come home and find a dead bird on the floor. But my cats left them alone. They're fairly young, just past the baby age and not good at flying at all. They hardly even tried to get away when I went to catch them. They let me hold them so I could release them outside and they didn't bite or anything when I picked them up. I was so happy I was able to help them before my cats changed their minds. It almost makes all the other badness of the day/week go away. I wish I could share the pics I took with my cell phone. They are really sweet birds. I think in honor of the movie, I'm naming them Heath and Christian. I needed something like this, I did.
