OMG I forgot what sexkittens Kamui and Fuuma can be. This is mostly me going on about this subject in relation to a certain OVA. )

Caught up on Naruto, mostly because I wanted to see Sai and the end of the Gaara arc is a good emotional piece. Though I think the bringing Gaara back from the dead was significantly less emotional than the handshake of gay. Gaara seeing the whole village full of people that loved him was sweet. The new ED is just Sai fanservice, which I guess is ok. Sai is one pale mofo. But they did let him say his line about asking if Naruto has a penis so they points for that.

Also caught up on Heroes. Now I shall blather on about that. )

Then we watched Battlefield Earth. I can't remember anything about this movie. Even watching it with Riff Trax was probably a waste of my time. I think the message about Scientology I took away from that movie is that Scientology kind of makes me want to shoot myself in the head so I never have to experience something that godawful ever again. Hehe LJ forces me to capitalize Scientology as if it were a legitimate religion. Lolz.

Caught up on Avatar. I feel stupid because I just figured out that Azula is younger than Zuko. I did not realize she's only 15. This entire time I thought she was the older sister. This fucks with my entire mindset. Now I talk about the episode that must not be named. )

William and I spent a good portion of the aftermath of watching said episode, comparing Lelouch and Zuko's childhoods and royal influences. I will have to type it up someday because it was pretty awesome. I think the crux was that Zuko had full security to the thrown but was forced into submission (hence his loud/violent outbursts of pent of frustration), whereas Lelouch was relatively pointless in the royal scheme but developed a vicious pride (hence I CAN DO IT MYSELF THIS IS MY PROBLEM). Emo exiled princes are amusing.

I return as usual to find my family completely fucked my computer system and went through my doujinshi. I hope they enjoyed that.

Caught up on Heroes. Still hate Claire. Will hate her even more if she gets her father killed, who's the only reason I even tolerate her arcs. I don't really like the twins either, though now I get that one CFUD joke. Don't like flying boy either. I do love the adorable domesticism of the M-House with Mommy Matt, Daddy Mohinder and daughter Molly. Even though Matt is the WORST PARENT EVER. Not digging the Katrina thing they have going on with the New Orleans Heroes. Oh and I love Hiro's side arc because it's just cute.

We also watched Kyou Kara Maou, which could be problematic considering the current issues Geneon is having. Dammit I just wanted to see the volume where they go back to Earth. But I was content to have Yuuri being a total sap over Wolfram getting kidnapped, and Wolfram pretending he wasn't eating it up. I also bitched about Julia because that's what I do. I think I have an inherent dislike of any anime/manga characters named Julia. They are always plot devices and never have personalities. Yet everyone ends up falling for them. Boo.

Weekend ended with one-hour traffic delay on the Interstate!

I love this icon. LuLu is so very special. I love how happy he looks about blowing his brains out.

I very much dislike it when Nickelodeon decides it's going to start playing the new episode of Avatar five minutes early so that when I turn to the channel at the proper time, I'm in a world of confusion. But mmm Zuko needs icons for this episode. I so saw that ending coming.

Caught up with Heroes. Is is bad that I get the painter and that guy whose father died confused? I think so. I still hate the cheerleader. She's so damsely worthless. Hiro and his new girlfriend made me sad.

Geass: Limited gay subtext this time around. Unless you count Millay, who's completely gay for Shirley. Too bad she has an arranged marriage. Also too bad that Shirley is ga-ga over LuLu. LuLu made the cutest noise ever when his father turned on him when he was a widdle princling. I guess LuLu is not the extremist I thought since he does have deep attachment to his sister. Also, C.C. looks hotter in the Zero costume than Lelouch. I'm bored of watching Britannia slaughter the Elevens. Can we have some actual fighting between the groups for once? Even watching LuLu get PWNED is something.

Stomach achey again. I wonder what that's all about. I bet if I thought long enough, I could figure it out.

ETA: I'm very happy I missed the next Avatar episode preview. Seriously, Zutara can DIE!!!

I am really going to have to buy the rest of FMA for Christmas or birthday. For the past two days I've been humming/singing Indelible Sin in the car and wondering where the hell it was from. I convinced myself Get Backers but that never seemed right. It wasn't until the images from the ED and the weird ending of the song returned that I realized it was FMA all along. I was sad.

I really love Her Majesty's Dog. It's not the greatest manga in the world. It's not that original either. But I enjoy the characters, Hyoue's hot and he sports fangs and demon eyes from time to time. It's just one of those things that is fun to read. A good crack shoujo.

Heroes, I would like you so much more if you didn't throw so much at me so that I can't grasp anybody's character. I'm still working off gut reactions for the ones I do like. You really could do better since the scenarios themselves aren't half-bad.

I'm all but ready to give up on House since I never catch it. Nobody will show it to me and I always miss my chance to catch it elsewhere. I enjoy House but it's just not fitting my schedule any more. Why can't it come on at 10 or sometime I'd have a chance of catching it?

Did I leave my cell phone at work???

Curse you, Horizon, you've returned to torment me. But you're no longer hiding my icon keywords so I shall withdraw my vendetta against you.

d.Grayman 1 did not impress. Rather it just frustrated me. I'm frustrated that I just can't really get into the series despite it having both interesting characters and an interesting plot. I know with the manga it's the speed, but I'm really hoping the anime remedies this.

I do not have Death Note yet. More displeased. Firefox has also decided that any camp post of 100 comments or more must result in a lock-up, script error or other technical difficulty. This makes spamming even harder than it normally is. This also makes me want to drop-kick the computer out the window. I don't know what it wants. Probably more memory. I flirted with the idea of playing with IRC before this chaos unfolded, but if the computer can't even handle AIM and Firefox, I don't want to imagine the horrific experience that will be IRC.

Missed most of Lost because I forgot about it. Whoops. Heroes tried to be more interesting. I cared more so whoo. Flying brothers of hot check. Random Sayid rip-off check. Asian guy comedy relief meets apocalypse check. Bitch of hell that is awesome and single mom check. Stupid mindreading cop check. Annoying unbreakable teenage wangster check. Evil bad guys in the shadows check.

PR killed me and taught me that Vincent really is a basket case. ANTM made me happy because I hated that bitch and they're giving my A.J. the props she deserves. Those damn twins still need to go. Gangly rejects.

I want to wangst but since I know that tends to go sour and I'm probably just being self-critical and self-conscious as usual, I shall bottle up these whimperings until they have merit.
