A few rants for the morning.

1.)I am so bad at motivating myself to go things. Like um go to work and finish my assignment. I'd be much more cooperative about that if I hadn't felt overworked all week long.

2.)Bro needs to start cleaning up his nose bleeds. He acts like this is the first time it's happened. No. This happens every time he has a nose bleed. I don't understand why he doesn't get how unsanitary and unsafe this is. Next time, I'm just going to throw his ass out of bed and make him clean it up. He's not getting any sympathy points from me about being light-headed at the time if the blood is still there several hours later.

3.)That asshole who refused to turn off their car alarm for a good hour or so needs to be shot in the head. Ow.

4.) People ranting about there being more difficulties in a game that's very purpose is character-torture doesn't sit well with me. Then again, I like challenge in my gaming.

5.)Still not going to be codependent. And I mean it.

6.) Kaiba is not YGO:TAS series Kaiba, people. I want to slap each and every one of you that honestly think there is a question of whether Kaiba saves his Blue Eyes cards over Mokuba. Kaiba has risked himself countless times to save Mokuba. Putting his cards up for the gamble isn't going to change things. I love YGO:TAS, but you cannot use it as basis for characterization. There is more to Kaiba than his being an asshole. This is why I adore him.

7. I lied. There is no seven. I just wanted a lucky number.

Spent the majority of yesterday rewatching the Sakura Card arc of Card Captor Sakura, with focus on the Touya/Yukito, Yukito/Syaoran, Eriol/Syaoran and Yue/Keroberos scenes. I don't really like the first chunk of the series since it's too episodic for my taste, but the Sakura Card arc usually has something new to offer each time. I also watched the Judgment Arc since Yue is a bastard. I still can't believe I'm only missing two DVDs from the set. It's driving me up the wall. I had to resort to watching the final DVD on the Net. I think it's the first time I've ever seen the last three episodes since I didn't recognize anything, and Eriol's just plain weird. Rache is right the total OTPness of Syaoran/Sakura does get on your nerves. I think it could be because for some reason Clamp feels that all of their major 10-year-old characters must establish their soulmates before they leave elementary school or something. And that teacher honestly needs to stop perving over Sakura's friend; I don't care if she reciprocates.

I forgot to gush about the newest Yugioh Duelist volume. But in order to do that properly, I'll probably have to re-read it. It is such KaiYamiJou it's not even funny. I think Kaiba wants them both. His reasons for saving Jou crack me up every time I read them. He was impressed at the sheer level of Jou's stupidity in saving Yuugi. Adorable. I think this is also the first time he acknowledges Jou as a duelist, in the manga anyway. In the anime, I think he didn't really acknowledge him until after Malik "killed" him in their duel.

Waah, why won't the KH II manga give me my Axel/Roxas already?

I need to get back to watching Jetstream and listening to Tim Gunn's podcast since I've done neither in the past week.

Ack, I forgot what I meant to post yesterday. Going on a grand hunt for all of my old Japanese Yugioh fanart sites since my main YamiKaiba union went down. I think the rule that you can't share links on LJ is stretched and I don't know of even ONE American YamiKaiba site so I'm stuck with the foreign ones. Fanlistings don't count, and I view them as a great waste of my time. If I get bored enough, I might make a YamiKaiba fanworks archive since KaiJou rules this realm, and it makes me sad.

YUGIOH FANART RECS:

Yugi/YamiJou

-Honey Orange Cafe: Bits of Yami/Yugi but more slanted toward JouYamiYuugi. Hit or miss. A few really good images mixed in.

-Cainz: Mostly great Jou art but a few beautiful KaiJou works. My favorite Jou artist.

-Muuramu Dou: Cute Kaiba. Yes, you heard me cute. It's definitely Seme!Jou here and Kaiba always looks delicously tender. Not quite my tastes as I prefer a DRAGON to a kitten, but still very pretty.

-??: I don't know the name. A lot of crack art. I just love the stuff with Yami's fat kitty. It's like his and Seto's kid. XD

-Poisoning House: Another hit or miss site. But this one features the Doma clan so it earns extra love. The gift section is my favorite part, but goodies can be found throughout. I really like how seductive this artist can occasionally draw Yami. Beware for the two images of female-Yami though.

-HITSUNETYAMESHIGOTO: From the same artist who gives us Monte Cristo's Miracle Ponto comes this lovely gallery full of sketchy, gorgeous YamiKaiba and lots of mingling with GX characters. Great originality for poses/costumes and no overly girly portrayals.

-Crystal Pod: Constantly changing styles so nothing gets stale. Best part is the comics. My favorite is the Birthday comic, though is is a tad bittersweet.

-Absolute ZERO: Everyone Kaiba fans knows this site, and if they don't, they should. It's the best, hands down! Even if you already have all the pics, which Janime ruthlessly steals, you should check out the original site.

-Power of Love: The second best Kaiba (YamiKaiba) site. Takes a little getting used to the navigational system, but it's not too tricky. More pretty, almost innocent Kaiba. Most unique interpretation of Blue Eyes yet.

-Spring Villa: More of the famous Seto work. Just good art in general. Oh and smut, lots and lots of Kaiba smut.

-Wish: Really really good Yami. Check out the newest illustrations for the really smooth stuff.

-TAKANOHA: Not a whole lot of art and most of it is iffy, but a real talent for drawing YamiKaiba when it's all up close and personal AKA smex.

-Hikari no Kuni: Creative when it comes to image angles and subject matter, though all YamiKaiba of course. Still very beautiful.

-Apricot Field: Not the cleanest or best proportional art, but lovely use of colors and soft expressions. Sweet YamiKaiba. Very fluffy.

-Blue Continent: Perky would best describe this place. Don't let that deter you. The art is top notch. Favorite pics include the Tenipuri/YGO crossover and the uber-sweet shot of Kaiba and Yugi snoozing with Mokuba, a famous pose in most KaiJou pictures but not often seen in the YamiKaiba continuum.

-Yuitsuta: Seme!Yami plain and simple and very, very submissive and fragile beauty Kaiba. Not my cup of tea, but the comics are amusing, especially the ones where Kaiba suddenly wakes up chibi and very annoyed.

-YGO Paradise: Most Yugioh fans know of this site because of its fanfiction archive. The art isn't overly impressive, but some images turn out remarkably nice, and while most of it is fluffy, it can sometimes get quite steamy.
