I love when I rant when I should be doing writing for work. But I saw some things last night that randomly pissed me off.

1. 300 is not a pro-Iraq war movie. You people are stupid. If anything's wrong with the way characters are portrayed, it's due to the comic book itself. This thing is a shot for shot adaptation of the comic book, with only the added scenes with the Queen. This is what people actually thought back then, and I for one didn't leave that movie thinking the Spartans were anything but CRAZY.

2. Whimpering when the rather obvious main het pairing finally confirms itself and screws with your perfect gay is all fine and good on your personal journal (still stupid as hell though), but please have the common decency to not take it to public communities. You look like a moron. And if you're not a 12/14-year-old airhead fangirl, you certainly seem to be.

3. I just hate elitism in general but especially elitist yaoi fans (you know, the ones who sneer at the very thought of het or pretend to like het but only when it's convenient). A more self-righteous, critical group there never has been. They even put my negativity to shame. That's just scary.

4. I wish I had more to rant about this early.

4.5. Oh yeah I love Lulu and Shirley's got her points, but I hate Lulu/Shirley for the simple reason that Lulu would be bored out of his fucking skull. Sorry I just can't buy into the "chemistry" there. Even Millay's a better choice when it comes to giving Lulu a girl.

Awwww. Snuggles. ^_^ Even if it's half accurate, I will be happy. I might post this to the SuzaLulu comm later since that place is dead. I think a lot of them are fans for the sake of the pretty anyway.
