I'm not in the mood to do anything tonight since the meeting that was supposed to be cool sucked. I want Clamp Platinum. I am sad that I cannot have X 18.5.

I was LJ-surfing as I do when looking for links and encountered an amusing discussion of how Light and Lelouch should team up to take over the world for great JUSTICE. I find this idea quite awesome. As the discussers pointed out, Light can kill people with the Note but he has to know their name first. Lelouch just needs their face. Together they fight crime! And look damn hot doing it.

I also heard word of a Ouran Host Club live action. This could either be beyond spectacular or the scary scary that was Princess Princess. I just hope they find a hot Tamaki.

I read manga now or destroy my brain with the Geass subtitle.

Going to sleep soon. Tuesday is my arch nemesis when it comes to time. Ookami comes out tomorrow. Where will I find the time to play it? *eyes Xenosaga III still in its packaging* Might have to multi-task with that one. I can type and play at the same time, sure.

Caught up on my Host Club. Tamaki seemed a little more insane than usual in 23 and 24, though he was much more adorable in 24. Kyouya has stamped his place as my favorite character for sure with 24. That entire episode was made of win. I also loved the yakuza guy in 22 and 23. He was cute with Haruhi.

I'm slow so when I was watching my Host Club episodes the other day, I started paying attention to the names. I figure they're done on purpose. I immediately got the Suoh (Nokoru) connection from day one since they are practically identical. Ohtori (Akio/Anthy) was a rather late discovery and now amuses me terribly. The shadow king. The evil but nice facade. That Haruhi's surname comes from an actual Japanese city is also quite relevant to her plainess. I do ponder about the twins though. I have possible inklings of Kaoru as Kaworu of Evangelion fame but I see it as far-fetched. No clue where Hikaru came from. Also lost on Honey and Mori. I guess the trick doesn't apply to everyone.

I also caught up with Weed to 25, which had some of the worst animation in 23, alarming since it was Kyoushirou's moment to shine. The fight with Bat was pathetic but Tesshin's fight with Kite made up for it. What's with the return of the evil humans theme? It makes no sense since Hougen doesn't exactly leave Gaijou. How does he expect to reach the humans from there? Or is he only amassing troups for now? The theme does tie in with Kaibutsu and Hougen/Genba's past, but I still have a tough time accepting that as Hougen's motivation. I'd rather see it as the humans messed up the brothers so bad that now they are just crazy. That makes more sense, given Hougen's actions. He's not a good leader at all. Weed is too strong, and it irks me. I want Jerome back, even if something horrible will happen to him. And wow, Reika stopped sucking for just a moment there...before she ended up needing to be rescued again. Why the hell can't any of the girls fight in Weed? I like Cross, but she never does anything anymore. Weed needs more strong girls, not ones who die or need eternal rescuing. It's terribly demeaning.

Um, I don't know where I'm supposed to go today. I probably need to go to work to figure it out.

I wish I knew how Sasuke-neko can always tell when I wake up in the morning because that's when she starts scratching at my door and destroying the carpet in the process. I've thought of nothing to discourage her from this, despite my constant yelling at her and chasing her away. I don't want to spray anything in front of my door because other sane cats come in without problems. Ideas?

I truly enjoyed PR last night. Mom drama. Jeffrey was such a bitch to Angela's mother, which I saw coming and knew that was the only reason he chose her in the first place. But Angela and her mother are sure whiners. I think Vincent's latest design almost placed me into cardiac arrest, as did the winner of the challenge. Not that it was undeserved. I think someone must have been possessed by...something. Most of the designers disappointed me in this challenge, and I think it's because they're used to working with nearly perfect models not average or above-average sized women with less than ideal proportions. Michael lucked out with Robert's mommy. Robert, you and Kayne were adorable snuggly-boos but your designs were seriously getting on my nerves. What happened to the Robert of the start of the show? PR is surprise after surprise lately, and I'm not talking the somewhat exaggerated drama either. I need to watch the podcast when I get home. Ooh, Tim Gunn's going to be on the Emmy's this Sunday.

The Naruto fillers will never end! Why? You know what, until someone actually sees an episode of Kakashi Gaiden, I don't want to hear another word about the possibility of the fillers ending. It's just too painful.

Mmm, Host Club music for consumption when I return. It's been a while since characters had image songs like the days of Digimon and Gundam Wing yore. Then again, I could be wrong. I don't follow enough series. Also, Host Club 19 and 20 for Nayami. *insert squee here*

I heard that bread anime thing is out in manga form in English. I might pick it up. How does everyone else feel about the series?

I got to stop falling for stupid teeny-pop music because I catch it in really good AMVs. This one was part of a tribue to John from Weed.

So the visit to Tom's ended up occupying all my time, with us usually getting home around 2 a.m. or later every night and him needing to hog the computer like a great greedy thing of greediness. Moral of this story, Nayami hates spontaneity whenever it's brought up by people other than her and Tom.

Let's do some reviews. Yay.

X-men 3: Nice explosions and some eye candy action. Little else. Angel was pretty.

Host Club 8: Needs more gay and less plot. Good thing Tamaki and Haruhi are so cute.

D-Grayman Volume 1: Awesomeness. I think I will actually enjoy this more than FMA because of the relative sanity of its fandom (from what I've seen) and the inclusion of the demons/exorcists. I'm very interested in more and right away. Kanda is hot. Allen is angsty. Akuma make me cry. The Earl makes me want to crawl under my bed and never never come out.

Angel Sanctuary 13: ZAPHIKEL! I really hate Sevothtarte. I don't care what its backstory ends up being. He's on par with Nakago with me right now when it comes to villains I want to disembowel. Anyone who hurts Raziel must die! Rosiel continues to compete with Alexiel for hottest manga girl-guy thing and I would be crushing if I knew exactly what I was crushing on. Setsuna/Kira/Katou are a melt-worthy trio. (See icon!) Again, love Setsuna and Sara separate. When they're together, I want to choke them both with Kira's pendant. I need 14 now! I repeat ZAPHIKEL!

Kyou Kara Maou 24-27: Conrad's past makes me care about him slightly more but now I am even more creeped out by the ConYuu shipping because not only is it almost a father/son thing but Yuuri's part-Julia. It kinda hurts my head. Blond Murata is hot and a completely different person. I can't wait to see his mazoku side. Episode 27 is just too insane for explanation. I will never again let a dubbed VA take a seiyuu's scream. There is just no comparison. Poor Wolf. I need to watch the other volume I bought now.

Anime project for this week is Princess Tutu. Wish me luck.


Ack, forgot to mention that theorganization is the best KH rp ever, with some of the most amusing version of the Org members that I've ever seen. I think Marluxia and Saix earn all my love for this one. And Xemnas because he's smarmy.

Finally I understand what all the fuss about Host Club is about. It is sheer crack love. I wasn't completely sold until the twist at the end, where I had to point at Tamaki and laugh until the credits were finished. *needs to buy manga now* I go get more episodes. Even if most of the other anime this season is not to my liking, I will at least have one to fall back on. One thing though. Honey? That is so wrong. XD This is also the first anime of this season I've seen that doesn't bore me to death with its OP and ED.

EDIT: I think I'll stick with XXXholic as well because Watanuki is awesome and the series makes me think random lines like "Oh my God, Watanuki, she's trying to turn you gay." I really dislike Yuuko's helpers though, except for Mokona. And since I never got into XXXholic when everyone else did, I missed out on the whole Fuuma/Yuuko similarities, which are damn amusing.
