I'm not going to do a real review on Boys Love since it's unfair to judge a piece without understanding it AKA being able to tell what the hell the characters are saying. But I just have to say jeez. Is this all it really takes to win over fangirls? Nayami is not impressed. Tenimiyu boys are lucky they are so pretty. Even the score didn't add anything to this movie. When I can tell what's going to happen in a movie about two minutes before it happens every time and I can't even understand the language, this is not a good sign. Can I write this movie now?
First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!
Second, the computer has once again shown it tops me by refusing to let me hook my laptop into the connection here. It's too accustomed to the router so without it, it doesn't want to acknowledge Comcast. This translates to my having to use my grandparents' computer to access the Net, which naturally limits the sites I can view. Specially ones that have a certain naughty word in the middle of their name. XD
Since I managed to lose my camera at home, I opted to ask for an emergency gift for xmas. The old one was nearly three years old anyway, and I really wanted a Powershot. I'm already approving of the faster shutter speed. Bro stole my other xmas presents. Yes, Father finally did break down and buy me my Hiruma I mean Eyeshield 21. It's nice to have a manga Bro and I can both enjoy again. He loves his football. Good thing since I'm football retarded and needed him to explain which position everyone played. I think I'm also starting to understand Shin's character. I might buy more now that I'm down here if I finish the first three fast enough.
I got to see my beloved manatees yesterday. I was surprised since it was pouring for a while there. But then it lightened up and they came out to play. They're so cute. I also talked the family into Sea World and Animal Kingdom later this week because I wanted an animal-themed trip. This was to get back at family for not braving the suicidal trip to Disney World for xmas. It would have rocked too!
I'm getting back to reading my Only the Ring Finger Knows books. I like the way the author does the sex scenes. I also enjoy the great realism of the characters. I had even more fun when my precocious niece called and asked what I was reading. Apparently "a romance" wasn't good enough for her and she wanted to know what it was about. Awkward. Also on the catch-up route, I watched Rokkaku. I loved the Rokkaku team but think I'm seriously missing out on something by not watching the anime episodes of that arc. I wonder if anyone on the miyu comm will be able to provide me with a summary. Hyoutei was still the best part of that miyu.
Final note: Never let your family talk you into visiting a Baptist church. So much agony. If there's one thing I hate, it's being yelled at while in church. They didn't even sing songs, which is my whole point for visiting church. We had Christian rock. -_- I pout now.

Nov. 30th, 2006 07:55 pmSince I am speaking mostly about Naruto today, I find my header quite appropriate.
Today was completely suck but then there was Naruto, and all was good again. Yet I have this ever-growing fear that the increased emphasis on Naruto's devotion to Sasuke against all odds could spell certain doom for our little bastard. You're usually only allowed this level of affection/friendship in a shonen or even a shoujo manga if you're planning to off one of them. Unless they're gay; then there's a loophole.
Rokkaku myu is out and here I am without any means of obtaining the episodes I need to understand it. I'm going to be more lost than ever. At least Atobe will be there in all his hot and sultry glory.

Mar. 27th, 2006 07:13 pmYesterday, I had a choice between being social and acquiring Hyoteimiyu winter edition. Tenimiyu she is a harsh mistress. She stole every resource my computer had, slowing everything down to the most depressing crawl. But the reward was well worth it.
At work today, I found some guy whose last name is Totoro. He's a totally bad guy. But it's still special.
I just realized I bought Kingdom Hearts II and will have no time to play unless I forgoe Net time or play like it's going out of style on the weekends. Though, this weekend will also include the Cherry Blosson Festival with the Tom.
EDIT: Some highlights of Hyoteimiyu in Winter
-YUUTA!!
-The gift-giving between Fudomine
-Eiji's improved acrobatic play. He was almost on an even playing field with Gakuto this time.
-Gakuto and Eiji using their partners as step stools to perform super moves. I had to keep rewinding to make sure this was for real.
-Kazuki's frustrated/enraged "TEZUKA!" Ooooh, it gives me goosebumps.
-Tezuka and Atobe's tennis duel, where they looked like they were going to literally beat the shit out of each other with their rackets.
-The looks.
-The line-stepping of "On My Way."
-The googly eyes Shirota gives Yanagi in the same song.
I can't believe our newest set of Tenimiyu boys will be leaving us so soon, even the trio. ;_;

Jan. 11th, 2006 11:03 pmI'm sad the tenimiyu mod deleted my post. I know it was just a silly thing, but I wasn't speaking in l33t or being an idiot about it. It was just an anecdote. I figured other people might have had similar experiences. I would have appreciated just a tiny bit of notice. I don't think I even got an email. ;_;
It was just a little story about how my brother's teacher told the students to "do your best" during their study session, making the Tenimiyu song stuck in his head for hours. It was a hah moment more than anything. I go listen to Evanescence and bleed myself dry now.
In other news, "Lookit, cherryblinded! Lookit! The lamers have elected you famous" strikes me as the most awesome thing I've heard in a few days. It's just the language and the humor and the sheer mastery of the English language that put it in a place above the rest. It doesn't even need context. And you get none.
ETA: Just noticed posts weren't showing up since I made that one dated announcement. What's up with that?

Do your best!
Nov. 30th, 2005 09:10 pmETA: I don't know if I'm really up for anything else tonight. I thought I'd be, but I sacrificed the nap that would have helped me function for Tenimiyu time. I may suck, but I'm HAPPY. =P
So Hyotei miyu...God, I am so high on Tenimiyu right now! I almost have no words, but I did have a teeny tiny problem, which was more of my lack of understanding the Japanese language and still missing many of the jokes.
Ah yes, almost forgot. Katsu no wa Hyotei! Makeru no Seigaku!! I almost want to give it sparkles, but that would be wrong. And scary.
CHEERS
1. ATOBE: Katou Kazuki
-Tenimiyu!Atobe definitely made me LOVE the character. He was awesome in every possible way. And he looked killer hot when he stole Tezuka's glasses at the end. I admit I cheered for him. I couldn't help shouting the Hyotei chant along with the gang. His song after his "prowess" line. His hand in front of his face pose. His finger snap. His dead-on look. His look of dispair when Tezuka lost. Nothing wasn't glorious about this guy. I hereby declare my never-ending love for Tenimiyu!Atobe.
2. Gakuto: Aoyagi Ruito
-Again, another Tenimiyu character that transformed my detest into delight. I miss the bouncy Nagayama and Gakuto filled his place in every way. His acrobatic play had me clapping in glee. Him and Yuushi doing the Hyotei chant was probably the first part that really yanked me into the miyu.
3. Jirou: Takuya
-I adore anime Jirou so it's no surprise I was all over Tenimiyu!Jirou. In a word, he was perfect. I only wish he could have had a song about how much helovedadmired Fuji. He needed more time on stage. ;_;
4. The Rivals: Wada Masato, Shiozawa Hidemasa, JURI & Kawakubo Yuuki
-Sengoku, Mizuki, Akutsu and Dan. It was great seeing all of them again and though I missed Yuuta, Sengoku helped ease the pain. Along with Hyotei, these guys stole the show, as they always do. Seigaku just isn't cool enough to keep the love. Mizuki vs. Momo was precious. And let's not forget the song to Ryoma. I think Tezuka deserved it more though. But Yanagi technically deserves it too because of how damn hard he tries for these miyus despite his accident.

I need to watch again, but just the last half this time. Must make sure I'm chanting the Hyotei mantra throughout work tomorrow.

Wait for me, Hyotei!
Nov. 28th, 2005 07:28 pmJust got Hyotei miyu so this probably means that it will consume my attention for the next few days. Have to do the usual catch-up in order to understand the miyu. About 20 episodes worth of catch-up. At least 5 hours. Don't know when I'll be able to check out my precious miyu since work is rather demanding this week. 12 hours one day and a very early start on the next. Love how they told me about that with plenty of time in advance. As in a day. Thanks, guys.
Pondering over getting Faith an account. Just renewed the pup's because I love his icons more than is probably sane.
I'm really accumulating the anime I need to get back too. We're up to at least two eps of ParaKiss, one Black Cat, countless Kyou Kara Maous and one of those pesky partridges in their stupid fruit trees.
Interesting note, House's Wilson is the threatre-loving brat who blows his brains out in The Dead Poets Society. Hated that movie. I'm not about the depressing flicks, where nobody seems to win. Even the scene at the end with the boys standing on the tables wasn't as inspiring because they didn't all do it and you knew they were getting suspended and that Robin Williams was still leaving. Why didn't they just blame that hideous father for crushing his son's dreams? Red from That 70s show is really evil in that movie.
EDIT: Because it must be said again. Murakami surely lost most of her ability to draw when she lost the remainder of her sanity. Everyone looks hideous. Even my Eiri. God, Tohma and Eiri should just fuck so I can bury my Gravitation love forever and for good. That's about what it'd take.

Dad's finally taking me to a doctor this week and I have Dream Live 2. Yanagi and Endou will help me fight my depression, I hope. For TeniMiyu is far greater than any Prozac.
Dance Matches between Fuji and Ryoma are good for the soul. Also, I love Fudomine and of course the darlings of SeiRu.
Oh hell, I love all the rivals. They just steal the show from Seigaku.

Writing went semi-decent yesterday. We've established that Nicky is insane and Luce is not an idiot. We've also established that Ty will surely be scarred for life. Silly Ty, this is why we knock. Wait, I don't pity him; I have to write him next. I hate you, Ty!
Upon hearing about the return of AsuKira, the next best thing to AsuCaga, I shall be returning to Seed after reading DNAngel 7. I am still debating Honey & Clover. Everyone likes it but real-life drama, not my thing. I need a game or some sort of villain to hold my interest. Though, I say all this having watched zero episodes and will probably end up biting my tongue later. I don't know if Xenosaga II will be taken up again for a bit.
I want to go to Best Buy and buy "Rock of Ages" because I need more Leppard music, thanks to that concert.
Though I feel toward Pokemon the way the Naruto fans feel toward Yugioh, I am having slight interest in the Satoshi(Ash) character at the camp since he seems to be picking fights with Anakin and Sasuke. I have much to catch up with, I see. This is why voting days are always so bad for the Nayami; they drive her away from her crack.
Father says I need to go to Japan so I will stop fangirling the scary tennis boys around him. Everytime I try to watch my musicals, I have to listen to bitching about how there's no ball, how you can't play tennis when you aren't even facing each other, you can't hit a ball if you take that long to return a serve, why are those guys poking each other's asses with a racket and what the hell does "Mada mada dane" mean anyway. I told them it's just art and it's cute choreography. Besides, it's the one thing I fangirl like nothing else. I may not write fics, read fics, view fanart, draw fanart, or even converse much about Tenimiyu, but you put it in front of me and I am certifiably insane. Once I get a job, I am going to Japan, and I am going to see Yanagi.
